Position Summary:
The Community Engagement and Office Manager is a highly organized, hands-on leader responsible for launching and managing the Vendor and Career Center in Corona, NY. This role oversees daily center operations while supporting HR administration, vendor coordination, and community engagement efforts. Serving as a central point of contact, the position ensures seamless coordination among internal teams, applicants, vendors, and community partners, keeping pre-opening timelines on track and operations compliant with company standards.
As the primary on-site representative, the Community Engagement and Office Manager delivers a professional, welcoming experience for job seekers and suppliers engaging with Hard Rock at Metropolitan Park. Through strong relationship management and operational oversight, this role supports workforce development, recruitment, and supplier engagement initiatives.
Essential Functions:
Maintain knowledge of HR policies, employment regulations, and labor laws to ensure compliance.
Serve as a key resource for applicants by providing guidance on employment opportunities and processes.
Manage HR- and vendor-related inquiries, communications, and scheduling for interviews, appointments, and center services.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Vendor and Career Center, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
Partner with the Community Engagement Team to expand outreach, strengthen local relationships, and support workforce development initiatives.
Deliver the Hard Rock Workforce Readiness Program to prepare local talent for employment opportunities.
Represent Hard Rock at Metropolitan Park at community events, job fairs, and vendor outreach activities.
Plan and execute career fairs, vendor fairs, and other recruitment or supplier engagement events.
Act as a liaison between the local operation and Corporate teams (HR, Community Engagement, Procurement, IT, Security, Communications, and Legal) to ensure alignment with standards and strategic priorities.
Coordinate with Corporate Procurement and HR to support vendor compliance, recruiting activities, onboarding timelines, and workforce readiness efforts.
Ability To:
Manage multiple priorities, shifting deadlines, and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Coordinate office and facility operations, including supplies, logistics, and vendor support.
Work a flexible schedule, including extended hours or event support as needed.
Interact professionally with applicants, vendors, internal partners, and community stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
Communicate clearly and effectively in both one-on-one and group settings.
Utilize Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and HRIS systems such as Workday and Infinium.
Communicate fluently in English; additional languages are a plus.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field.
HR certifications preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
5â7 years of progressively responsible experience in office management, HR operations, community engagement, vendor management, or similar administrative leadership roles.

This role supports employment and vendor engagement efforts by coordinating communications, maintaining accurate records, and building strong relationships with community partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Assist with planning and ex*****on of vendor fairs and other Hard Rockâsponsored events.
Ability To:

Coordinate office and facility operations, including supplies, vendors, and logistics.
Work flexible schedules, including varied shifts or event support as needed.
Interact professionally with team members, business partners, vendors, and guests.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Communicate clearly and effectively in both one-on-one and group settings.
Use Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 tools proficiently and learn internal systems as required.
Communicate fluently in English; additional languages are a plus.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associateâs degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
