Woodbury FFA Chapter The Woodbury FFA Chapter, is a local chapter in Connecticut, and belongs to the National FFA Organization, the largest youth organization in the U.S.

The Ellis Clark Regional Agriscience and Technology Center located at Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury, Connecticut is one of the largest and most successful in the country with over 325 students from 14 different towns. Started by Ellis Clark, the first Vo-Ag teacher at Woodbury High School in 1920, this program was originally a farming school for boys, with no FFA connection for 8 years; hence the National FFA was formed in 1928. The program remained at Woodbury High School until 1970 at which point a new High School and Agriscience Building was constructed in Woodbury. The High School and agriculture facilities were both designed to accommodate students from Region 14 School District (Woodbury and Bethlehem). Currently, selected students from 14 towns attend Nonnewaug High School for the Agriscience Program. The continued success of the program has caused enrollment numbers to increase steadily over the years forcing a major renovation and expansion completed in 1999. The following Connecticut Towns allow students to attend Nonnewaug High School for the Agriscience Program - Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Bethel, Bethlehem, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Oxford, Prospect, Seymour, Southbury, Watertown, Woodbridge, and Woodbury. This page is used to communicate our story and happenings, to many audiences, including fellow members, other chapters, community members, and anyone interested in Agriculture and Youth Leadership.

We are thrilled to celebrate our American Degree Award recipients! This is the highest degree an FFA member can earn, showing their incredible leadership abilities and participation in the community throughout their FFA career. This degree exemplifies a students dedication to their SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) and demonstrates the definition of going above and beyond as an FFA member; being a part of the 1% of FFA members to receive such a prestigious award!

Congratulations to our very own Kyleigh Paige, Nicole Perssico, Alyssa Gravel, Samantha Kostka, and Alexa Sweeney! Phenomenal job!

Those who also deserve recognition, but were unable to attend: Zosia Olejniczak and Leah Quijano! - LGF

Last night at the 6th General Session of the 99th National FFA Convention, we met FFA members from the Woodbury FFA chapter in Woodbury, Tennessee and conducted a jacket swap! We cheered on T. Wayne Williams, National Southern Region Vice President who was a former member of Woodbury FFA in Tennessee, as he delivered his retiring address. We have new found friends in the Volunteer state and will proudly display your jacket in our program!

The Woodbury FFA Parliamentary Procedure LDE Team is happy to announce they earned SILVER!! They represented CT well, from their hours of general knowledge tests and team event, to conducting a parliamentary correct meeting. These students have worked hard, continue to set their own personal goals, and then surpass them. What a way to end the week! - LGF

We’re looking for passionate community members from our district and surrounding sending towns with a background in agriculture, to share their ideas, expertise, and perspectives. With just TWO meetings a year (typically the second Thursday of November and March), you can make a BIG impact on the future of our program and the opportunities we provide our students.
