✨ Luminaires Are Back — A Beloved Holiday Tradition! Every year the lions light up Christmas Eve by placing luminaries around our town. It really is something special, and you can be part of the magic! ✨

Luminaires are now on sale at ACE, LaBonne’s, and The Garden for $10.00 per dozen — available through 12/24.

This beautiful tradition began in 1995, started by Lion Don Heavens, as a Christmas gift from the Lions to the town. For over 30 years, it has brought neighbors together to decorate Main Street and their own homes, creating a magical Christmas Eve display that draws visitors from all over the state.

"Oh what fun" we had today at the Woodbury Senior Center "Jingle Mingle".
More than 70 Woodbury Seniors gathered to celebrate the holidays. Woodbury Lions were so happy to sponsor the dessert table for the festive event! Center Director Loryn Ray and her amazing staff and volunteers put together a vibrant afternoon, karaoke included! We'll done!

The Nonnewaug High School Leo Club and National Honor Society hosted a food drive for the month of November and collected hundreds of items to donate to local residents in need. Today, Community Services Council of Woodbury Executive Director Megan Houlihan-Aceto and Lions’ Club member Ken Deschino, who oversees the school Leo Clubs, stopped by Nonnewaug on to collect the food donations.
