Woman's Club of Woodbury - the one in CT We are a group of women, whose talents have benefitted causes and projects in our community

Simply put, we are women volunteers who are simultaneously organized on local, regional, state, and national levels to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding. The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) was founded in 1890 during the Progressive Movement. The Woodbury

club was one of the first in the nation, organizing in 1896 and becoming federated in 1897, three years before Congress officially chartered the national endeavor. Today, approximately 60,000 members of GFWC International Women’s Clubs promote civic improvements through volunteer service. Many of the activities and service projects are done independently by local clubs through their communities or through their national partnership with GFWC. GFWC is distinguished from other service organizations by the breadth of our outreach. Our community service programs span all areas of the lives of our members, their families, and communities: arts, conservation, education, home life, public issues, and international outreach.

The Woman’s Club of Woodbury is pleased to announce that 🎅🏻 Holiday House tickets are now available on Eventbrite. 🏠🎄This year’s tour will be held on Saturday, December 13th.

Tickets will be available at local merchants beginning November 1st.

For 29 years the holiday tradition has attracted visitors from all over and serves as a festive holiday kick off. We hope that you will join us this holiday season 🏠🎄
