Just in from our beautiful race sight!! The smoke has cleared out and it’s bound to be a beautiful weekend!!! We’re so excited to see everyone!!

Racers!!! Were so excited to see you this weekend. A couple things to touch base on.

🚨🚨 as of right now Blewett pass is closed. Highway 2 and highway 20 are both open. Coming up through Wenatchee you will likely encounter fire personnel. 🚨🚨

📍 Registration will be open on Friday, feel free to come and fill out paperwork!

📍 Friday testing will be available ONLY to those who have filled out a registration paperwork

📍 lunch on Saturday feel free to bring a side or a dessert.

🚨 NO campfires, Winthrop is currently on a level 3 burn ban!!! 🚨

Racers!!! October is right around the corner, we are changing a few things this year to help registration run faster and smoother. On that note, please be on the look out for a google forms that will be uploaded shortly. prices remain the same as previous years. inspection will still be required on Saturday morning. please make sure to fill out the form prior to race weekend! we look forward to seeing you in the next few weeks.

Racers!! It’s that time of year again, looking for extra seat time at the end of the season? Maybe wanna try a new prop. Join us at Pearrygin lake state park October 3rd~ October 5th. For our annual race.

Looking to get away Mother’s Day weekend, come tow your boat through the 49er days parade, while your there take the chance to drive 5 minutes from town to our beautiful race sight to see what it has in store.

Changes coming to this years registration process. In years past you’ve filled out your paperwork on Friday or Saturday morning. To make things easier this year we will be doing a preregistration. Friday will be a test day, boats that want to test need to have there registration filled out for the weekend before you can hit the water.

We look forward to seeing you this year and can’t wait to enjoy another beautiful race weekend!!

Racers, as we get ready for the new, a new race season approaches!! After the turn out for the 2024 race we’d love to get just as many if not more boats this year!! We look forward to what 2025 brings!! Race weekend this year will take place on

October 4th- October 6th

We hope to have a preregistration set up to make the weekend run a little smoother!!

October 5th-6th the Winthrop hydroplane regatta will be taking place!!! Curious on prices for racing let’s brake it down!!

WIR membership fee for the weekend is $10
First class is $60 (for the weekend)
Second class is $35 (for the weekend)
Third class is $25 ( for the weekend)
Fourth class is $20 (for the weekend)
Be sure to bring cash or have a check ready!!

Saturday Night we will have a potluck! More details to come!!

We can’t wait to see you in a few short weeks!!!

Racers!!! October is right around the corner meaning it’s that time of year again!! What time is that you may ask?! Well it’s time for the Winthrop hydroplane regatta!! As the race is just 4 weeks away!! We look forward to seeing many boats. We’d also like to remind you there is no fee for the car show!! We can’t wait the countdown is on!!! 🏁

Racers!! As October approaches. We want to remind you. Booking your spots at the Pearrygin Lake camp grounds, or the Virginian inn hotel in Winthrop.
We’d also love to know what classes you’d like to see this year in years past we’ve had. OSY 400, C stock hydro, Kpro hydro, Kpro runabout, J hydro,etc. we look forward to seeing all of you here in a few short weeks!!!
