GRAM PARSONS - HIS MUSICAL JOURNEY

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame listed several defining subjects that earned Parsons his recognition. Among them:

Iconic Style: He was recognized as the first rock musician of his era bold enough to wear a "Nudie suit" on stage, seamlessly blending a traditional cowboy aesthetic with countercultural rock sensibilities.

An interesting moment as “Mr. George” (Publix founder George W. Jenkins) appears at the door of what was his very first “Publix Food Store” on Fourth St. NW, in Winter Haven , FL. This is the 119th Anniversary of his birth.

Hmmmmm. Would make a wonderful Publix W**e And Cheese Shoppe for that upcoming Publix Centennial! Just sayin’

In his words, “Begin … the rest is easy.”
