❤️🐾 RIDGE UPDATE 🐾❤️
First and foremost, THANK YOU.
Because of the incredible kindness and generosity of our supporters, Ridge underwent his emergency double eye enucleation surgery and came through the procedure successfully. We cannot express how grateful we are to everyone who donated, shared his story, sent prayers, and helped us get him the care he so desperately needed. And of course to the amazing staff at Garden Grove Animal Hospital for their unyielding support and care for animals in need.
In case you missed it: Just a few weeks ago, Ridge arrived in our care suffering from devastating infections in both eyes. Despite intensive medical treatment, the damage was too severe to save his vision, and surgery became his only chance at a life free from constant pain.
Today, for the first time in a long time, Ridge is no longer carrying the burden of those infected, painful eyes.
While this is a huge victory, Ridge’s journey is far from over.
He still has a long road of healing ahead of him. Over the coming weeks, he will require continued veterinary care, medications, follow-up appointments, and plenty of love and support as he recovers and learns to navigate the world without sight. Like many rescue animals, his medical expenses did not end with surgery day.
The cost of Ridge’s care has been significant, and any continued donations would be deeply appreciated as we work to provide everything he needs during his recovery.
🐾 Donations can still be made through:
• PayPal:
• Venmo: Karl-Starkey-1
• Cash App: $JustOneCatRescue
Ridge’s future is so much brighter because of this community. Although he will never see the world, he will now have the opportunity to experience it without pain—and that is a gift you helped make possible.
Thank you for believing in this tiny fighter. We promise to keep everyone updated as Ridge continues to heal and grow.
❤️ Please continue to keep Ridge in your thoughts as he begins this next chapter of his journey.
