I am sorry I haven't been posting much but we have taken a step back to catch our breath in the last couple of weeks. We have lost a couple of our guys which has left us utterly heartbroken. We have been nursing a couple of our colony boys back to health (it finally looks like they are ready to go back to their colonies). We have been harassed when we are out feeding colony cats. We were harassed by a follower who donated some cat food because we didn't send them a hand written thank you card. And now our refrigerator in the house is having issues and we may have to purchase a new one. We are just simply overwhelmed. We realize we are all going through it, I just wanted you all to know why I haven't been posting.

We are so grateful for the love and support we receive from each of you. Thank you for every donation, every post share, every post comment, every prayer sent up for us and every good vibe sent our way. I don't mention donors by name because we receive packages sometimes and we don't know who sent them. I would never want someone to feel like their donation didn't matter simply because i didn't list their name. Every donation matters to us and to the kitties we care for.

Thank you all for everything. Thank you for seeing the importance of what we do and for being the support that holds us up. We are moving forward regardless of the things we have to overcome. And we are so grateful to have you along side of us!!!

We have 2 sick colony cats here right now from 2 different colonies. Swerve has jaundice and Jerry Curl has severe anemia. Swerve has been around a long time. When he started moving slow we knew there was a problem. Jerry Curl just showed up a few weeks ago. He wasn't eating well and he was pretty thin. I dewormed him, but after a couple of days he still wasn't doing any better. Then he meowed at me in my face and I saw his gums were white so I brought him home. We are doing everything we can to help these boys get better. Both are on meds, fluids and Jerry Curl is being syringe fed. Prayers and good vibes are appreciated!

Rescue is hard. Some days harder than others. This weekend was a hard one. We lost our beloved Jeff Saturday night. In his short 4-1/2 years, Jeff had survived a full mouth extraction with reconstructive surgery to his jaw, jaundice, pancreatitis, liver abscess and severe environmental allergies. His immune system was so weak. He just couldn't sustain anymore. Jeff had the sweetest disposition in spite of all that he had suffered. He loved everyone and just wanted to be held and snuggled. He would bounce and prance everywhere he walked. He was such a happy boy. Jeff was so very loved by everyone who met him. Our hearts are broken 💔. We were so very blessed to have had Jeff in our lives and so very grateful to have had the privilege to love him. He was the best little guy.

Duke....... a whole lot of cuteness wrapped in a 2 pound little man!! He is so stinkin adorable it's ridiculous. And talk about a lap cat...

Gus asked me why he hasn't been adopted yet.... I told him I didn't know. Those eyes, that handsome pattern on the fur, his saucey personality... surely there is someone out there for this 2 yesr old boy...

Luther, Libby and Lexi are all getting settled in. This little trio is so sweet. Luther will climb you like a tree to snuggle your neck. The girls are accepting pets and are super curious about us. They are progressing very nicely.
