September is a big transition month here in Vermont - routines are shifting, and somehow the calendar fills up all at once.

We have a lot happening at Empty Arms this month, with opportunities for bereaved parents and families to connect and find support.

A few things coming up:

• Family & Friends Group — begins September 14
• Dads Group Hike — September 19
• Apple Picking Gathering — September 27
• Fall yoga schedule
• Ongoing support groups
• Remembrance Nights begin October 3 🕯️

Whether you’re looking for support, connection, or simply time with people who understand, we hope you’ll find something that feels right for you.

Full schedule + registration at the link in our bio or at www.emptyarmsvermont.org/events.

Give today to help Empty Arms Vermont reach our goal to reduce our reliance on federal funding. Any amount helps - we only have $650 worth of monthly commitments left to raise to meet our goal!

The Lantern Collective is the heart of our community of monthly donors—an essential group whose steady support brings light to families navigating the profound darkness of pregnancy or infant loss.

Lanterns play a symbolic role in times of grief and uncertainty. A lantern doesn’t eliminate the darkness, but it offers enough light to take the next step. That is exactly what these donors provide: a consistent, compassionate presence that helps grieving families move forward, even when the path ahead is unclear.

Learn more and join the collective: https://secure.givelively.org/donate/empty-arms-vermont-co/the-lantern-collective.

(Current Lantern Collective donors range from $10 to $100 per month levels – any donation size makes a difference!)

RSVP and Save the Date for our annual Remembrance Nights! 🕯️ Throughout Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month in October, join us for community remembrance gatherings honoring everyone impacted by pregnancy and infant loss — including parents, families, and friends.

July in Vermont has us reaching for sunscreen one day and a sweatshirt the next. The weather shifts quickly, and we're constantly adjusting.

In some ways, grief can feel like that too.

It changes from day to day, season to season. Sadness, guilt, anger, numbness, peace, confusion—there's no single way grief is meant to look or feel. Wherever it finds you today, we hope you're able to meet yourself with grace and care. 💙

This month, we're looking forward to gathering in meaningful ways through our support groups, grief yoga on July 12, and a Lake Monsters game on July 30. We'd love to have you join us.
