📢NAWIC Vermont 395 — We Need You There!

Join us for our upcoming Membership Meeting as we come together to shape the future of our chapter.

Meeting Highlights:
• Vote on the incoming Board of Directors
• Review new and old business
• Enjoy a fun 30-minute networking activity/game

Food and beverages will be provided, including wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options. Come connect, unwind, and spend time with fellow NAWIC women!

This is an especially important meeting because Board voting must take place in person, and we need at least one-third of our membership (approximately 15 members) to be present to reach a quorum.

Today in South Burlington, join our sisters with Vermont Works for Women as they celebrate Apprenticeship Week and their Trailblazer Graduates 🎓👷🏻‍♀️👷🏼‍♀️👷🏾‍♀️🛠️🧰

Meet Carrie Rupp🔧 After graduating from Trailblazers (our trades training program) last year, Carrie is now a working apprentice with VHV Company. Her favorite part? "I'm loving how many people do a double take when I walk into a service call." As an apprentice, she appreciates the ability to ask questions.

Women currently make up 8.94% of all registered apprentices in Vermont — and that number is growing, thanks to people like Carrie.

Thursday, April 30, we're celebrating the graduation of our 24th Trailblazers cohort and National Women in Apprenticeship Day. We'll be joined by the Vermont Department of Labor, Alliance Group, and current women apprentices to honor their successes and contributions.
