2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue - The Rescue Ranch Sanctuary The Rescue Ranch is a sanctuary for senior and medically needy fur buddies. We are situated on 12 acres. We are located on 12 acres with a stream and huge lawn.

Whether our fur buddies have a day or a few years our goal is to make sure they know what it is to be truly LOVED PA Kennel Lic # 06949 Our goal for 2022 is to put a bathroom, groom room and exam room on the first floor. That will take a serious donor! We are not an adoption center but instead take senior fur buddies and medically needy ones. We have many in carts. Some blind. Some deaf. BUT ALL LO

VED AND ADORED!!! We spend our days feeding, giving meds, catheterizing those that need it, expressing bladders, cuddling and just doing whatever we can to give these sweet souls the best they can have until their bodies say they are done. We have seen may miracles and experienced what the love of a fur buddy can do for a human who is hurting. Our Paws 4 Peace center is finished and we cannot wait to see the miracles that it will bring! This center will be a place where people can make appointments to come and just sit with a friend, family member etc and cuddle with a therapy fur buddy or 2. Love is a strong healing tool! This truly is a mission of love and we are so glad to be a part of the journey!!

So here we go again... about to do what we do best: save a dog that has no chance without us.

This tiny 12-week-old pug has a liver shunt and is currently sitting in a shelter. The staff there has done everything they can to help him, but they simply can't provide the 24/7 care he needs, and finding an adopter who has the financial ability to take on a case like this is nearly impossible.

So on Saturday, this little man will become part of the 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue family.

Two of our incredible volunteers will be driving 3½ hours to pick him up and then making the long trip back to the Ranch so he can finally get the care he deserves.

On June 30th, he will see a specialist in Malvern and undergo a CT scan to determine exactly what type of liver shunt he has. We are praying it is one that can be surgically corrected.

The estimated cost of his treatment is between $8,000 and $10,000.

That's a staggering amount of money, but this is exactly what 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is all about. Rescue isn't just about taking the easy ones. It's about digging deep, taking a leap of faith, and fighting for the animals that truly have nowhere else to turn.

This little boy deserves the chance to grow up, to run, to play, and to know what it feels like to be loved.
