On September 4, golfers will come together at Briarwood Golf Club for the Servants 18th Annual Golf Tournament.

Yes, there will be golf.
There will probably be a few questionable shots. 😁

What a great day of serving in Adams County! ❤️🏠

The Gettysburg Midget Football & Cheer cheerleaders traded their pom-poms for paintbrushes and spent the day volunteering with Servants.

And these girls were AWESOME! 🙌

From some of the youngest cheerleaders, ages 4–8, to the middle school squad, they jumped right in, worked hard, had fun, and helped care for the homes of their neighbors.

But the best part wasn’t just what they accomplished. It was seeing young people learning firsthand that you are never too young to make a difference in your community.

A huge thank you to Gettysburg Midget Football & Cheer, the coaches and families who made it possible, and especially these incredible young ladies for choosing to serve!

🎉 **250,000 HOURS OF SERVICE!** 🎉

We officially crossed an incredible milestone at Servants: **more than 250,000 volunteer hours served!**

A quarter of a million hours.

Hours spent building ramps. Making homes safer. Improving accessibility. Repairing what was broken. Serving neighbors. And bringing hope into homes throughout our community.

But those 250,000 hours represent something even bigger.

They represent **thousands of volunteers choosing to show up and serve.** Churches serving together. Businesses giving back. Families helping families. Neighbors caring for neighbors.

⛳ Golf for a Reason

What does a round of golf have to do with helping a neighbor stay safely in their home?

More than you might think.

Last year, 80 golfers came together for the Servants Golf Outing. Their support helped make 17 homes safer and healthier for seniors, veterans, and families in our community.

On Friday, September 4, we’re doing it again at Briarwood Golf Club.

Every drive. Every putt. Every sponsorship. Every golfer.

It all helps Servants provide critical home repairs that improve safety, restore independence, and give our neighbors the opportunity to remain in the homes they love.

Behind every project is someone who simply said, "I'll help."

Our volunteers come from different churches, different backgrounds, and different walks of life.

What they have in common is a willingness to use their time and talents to help neighbors remain safely in their homes.

Whether it's swinging a hammer, building a ramp, preparing lunch, or praying with a homeowner, every role matters.

When someone you love keeps returning home from the hospital, even getting through the front door can become a challenge.

That's the situation Angie shared with us about her mother.

A visiting nurse suggested contacting Servants after seeing how difficult it had become for her mother to safely enter and leave the house.

A wheelchair ramp may seem like a simple project.

For this family, it represents safety, dignity, and one less obstacle during an already difficult season.

Every home has a story.

We're honored to be part of helping write the next chapter.

A securely mounted grab bar.
A sturdy handrail.

A wheelchair ramp.

These aren't just home improvements.

They help people remain independent, reduce injuries, and continue living safely in the homes they've worked so hard to build.

Creating healthy homes starts with removing barriers before they become emergencies.

Sometimes hope begins with a neighbor.

After suffering a stroke last December, Martha has been working hard to regain her strength. Simple things, like getting in and out of her home, have become much more difficult.

It wasn't an advertisement that led her to Servants.

It was a neighbor who said, "You should give them a call."

Those conversations happen every day. One neighbor helping another. One recommendation leading to a safer home.

Martha now has a ramp that helps her move more safely and confidently as she continues her recovery.

That's why we do what we do.
