Summer is better when we serve together. Volunteers are building ramps, repairing stairs, installing grab bars, and making homes safer so neighbors can stay independent. Read more about how a few hours can change a life: https://wix.to/cGvCbLb

Join us this season — bring a friend, your skills, or your heart.

Every summer, volunteers show up to build ramps, repair dangerous stairs, install grab bars, replace unsafe flooring, and help neighbors remain safe and independent in the homes they love.

📍 Home Helps Northeast Work Camp

📅 July 21 – July 24

For some neighbors, home isn’t as safe as it should be.

That’s where this week makes a difference.

Volunteers will show up.
Homes will be made safer.
Hope will be restored.

👉 Be part of it. There’s still time to get involved.

We’re honored to be part of the conversation around what it means to create an age friendly community right here in York County. ❤️
This week, we had the privilege of welcoming the Lori Shapiro and sharing how simple home modifications can help neighbors remain safe, independent, and connected to the homes they love.
From safer entryways and accessibility improvements to critical repairs that reduce fall risks, every project is about more than a home. It’s about dignity, peace of mind, and preserving independence.
We’re grateful for partners like York County Community Foundation and everyone working together to make York County a place where people of all ages can thrive.
Because preserving homes really does provide hope. 🧡

Today, we remember.

We remember the men and women who gave everything for our freedom.
The ones who never made it home.

Because of their sacrifice, we get to live, serve, and love our neighbors freely.

Let’s not rush past that today.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

Twenty six years ago, Trent had a vision.

What if serving your neighbor was simple?
What if the barriers that kept people from volunteering could be removed?
What if ordinary people could come together to make an extraordinary difference in someone’s life?

And through prayer, faith, compassion, and a community willing to serve, Servants was born.

What started through international mission trips grew into disaster recovery work, and eventually into helping neighbors right here at home through critical home repairs and accessibility modifications.

Over the last 26 years, the mission has continued to evolve, but the heart behind it has never changed: serving people with compassion, dignity, and love.

Today, hundreds of volunteers across York, Lancaster, and Adams Counties are helping neighbors stay safe in the homes they love through:
• Wheelchair ramps
• Safer bathrooms
• Flooring and trip hazard repairs
• Grab bars and accessibility modifications
• Critical home safety repairs

What began as a simple vision has become a movement of churches, businesses, volunteers, donors, and community partners all working together to bring hope to neighbors who need it most.

Because when service becomes simple, people show up.

And for 26 years, this community has continued showing up again and again.

To every volunteer, supporter, church, staff member, and neighbor who has been part of the journey — thank you.

You are the reason thousands of lives have been impacted over the last 26 years.

Here’s to the next chapter of preserving homes and providing hope.

A Blessing Basket may seem small.

But to a neighbor receiving it…
It means everything.

It says:
You matter.
You’re seen.
You’re not alone.

Thank you to everyone helping make this possible.

Most falls don’t happen outside…
They happen at home.

That’s why the work we do matters.

Grab bars.
Safe entryways.
Stable flooring.
