The chamber brought a ribbon to I am Me Development Center, which is located at Windsor Square (Food Lion Shopping Center). April Swain proudly cuts the ribbon. Lots of local dignitaries attended the ribbon cutting, as well as staff and students. This facility is providing tutoring and mentoring to kids ages 4 to 13 and opened in this location last fall. Town of Windsor Commissioners Lewis Dameron , Randy Walston & Camille Rascoe were present.

Blood Drive today starting at 10:00 AM on Friday June 12, 2026 at the Windsor Community Building on Queen Street -
Give the gift of Life! - BTW the community building is not far from the birthplace of William Blount, signer of the US Constitution - and former Governor of Tennessee but maybe don't google as some not so favorable sides of William Blount.

Newest Chamber Member Erik Parker of Clarine's House is having a soft opening today off Cedar Landing Road. Clarine's House is a re-entry focused transitional housing program starting in Bertie County. Congrats Erik and good luck going forward.
