Normally, we focus on sharing the library events that WLA helped sponsor, but this one's too special to skip mentioning! The Windsor Library is having its first poetry slam Monday, October 19 at 6:00 PM. If you've never been to a poetry slam before and have been curious to check one out, now's your chance!

Join Windsor Public Library as we host our first poetry slam on Monday, October 19 at 6:00 PM! We invite all who wish to share any poetry or writings they have written to come and present them in front of a panel of judges. Bring your story and let the audience feel your words. All writing levels are welcome, it is a chance to showcase your writings among friends, and meet others who love conveying their stories through slam poetry! Each poet will have a 3-minute time limit to recite their poem.

If you wish to serve as a judge for the poetry slam, please contact Mark Gervino at 860-285-1920 or [email protected].

No registration required. Please contact the Reference Desk with any questions at 860-285-1918.
