Young people ages 8 & up - learn the fife or drum! No experience needed! Join today! 🎶

A long-established youth organization, the Windsor Fife & Drum Corps is made up of area kids from ages 7-21. Marching and performing up and down the east coast is what we do - all while traveling on our big white bus. In addition to performing, the Corps also takes just-for-fun trips to area attractions, an annual camping trip to the Adirondacks, and semi-annual trips to places like Disney World, Williamsburg, and the Amish Country.

The town of Prospect’s annual Pumpkin Festival parade is always a favorite of ours! The town’s enthusiasm and crowds make this such a fun event! Thanks, as always, for having us! 🎃🎶

The impending storm didn’t keep us from our end-of-season bus clean up day! Thanks to our color guard member Ed Cusson we were able to work inside the firehouse! Huge thanks to our members and their parents for all the hard work! We still have some cosmetic work to do, but the bus is looking shiny and clean! 🚌🧼🫧

Thank you to everyone who came to support the Windsor Corps at our muster this past Saturday! The weather was perfect and the performances and enthusiasm by the attending groups could not have been better! We are excited by the junior corps who are still working so hard to keep young people involved in this unique hobby and inspired by the senior corps for the support and encouragement their attendance brings! Photos coming soon, but please share any you have as well! 🎶🥁🥰

Congratulations to one of our alum, Lane Waddell. Exciting things are happening in South Carolina!

Lane Waddell is drumming up interest in fife and drum music, establishing a statewide association in South Carolina to celebrate the 18th century art form. (Full story below.)

It’s come to our attention that a fake post is going around advertising Windsor Corps alumni tshirts. This is not from us and is a scam. Please do not engage with the post. Thanks

We love a good collaboration! On Tuesday the Windsor Historical Society invited us to demonstrate our music for their day campers. We played a few songs, shared some facts about our instruments and fife & drum, and then let the kids give the fife and drum a try. It was a great morning and we’re proud of how our members were friendly and enthusiastic teachers!

Yesterday we traveled to Kittery Point, Maine to take part in the Piscataqua Rangers Jr Fife & Drum Corps 10th anniversary muster! What a beautiful muster venue and an awesome day for our members. Thank you for including us and congratulations! Per WFDC tradition, an ice cream stop on the way home was a great way to wrap up our trip!
