Last Fun Friday was a wonderful visit from Ms Jessica from the Clark County Health Department💗. We were able to create positive mirror messages! So much fun! For the rest of the day we focused on getting ready for the Showdown wrestling match! We created our own wrestling masks, stretched to get limber and ended our day with Thin Wrestling Matches! 🤣. (Sorry, long post) what an amazing day!!! We will have more pics throughout the week. Today our participants, familiy, & friends got to enjoy an afternoon of professional wrestling in our very own Stride gym! Where they have walked laps, shot hoops, and played volleyball now hosted high flying wrestlers, villains taking cheap shots, chants of DUCK, DUCK, GOOSE, and more high fives & smiles than you can imagine. What was so cool about this event is it was given to our STRIDE folks by a generous donor who has supported so many things like therapy equipment, new classes & supplies, and scholarships. After meeting with them this year, they made their usual generous donation and then asked one of the best questions we have ever gotten: “Now, what would you do, if you could just spend money on something purely FUN for the participants? Something that you know they’d love, but can’t because you’re covering more pressing needs.” That’s how this crazy idea began and it far surpassed our expectations! Jonathan and the crew at Kentucky Championship Wrestling did such an amazing job. If you or your organization is looking to put on a great show, give them a call! THANK YOU to everyone who helped make today so special for the amazing folks we serve!

We always love seeing all the cool animals at Wendt Wildlife!!!! We got a lot of steps in checking out all the wild animals on Thursday. We even got to sneak a peek at the new giraffe!! We had a great picnic lunch and got to play on the slides!

Wendt's Wildlife Adventure is always an adventure! We were able to visit yesterday and had so much fun seeing all the animals! We even got to sneak a peak at the new 🦒 giraffe! So many pictures! More to come!

This week has gone so quickly!!! Monday we had a blast during line dancing, yoga and bocce practice. Tuesday we worked on our dance to Eye To Eye from The Goofy Movie, our Tai Chi, painting with our friends at Boonesboro Trail and bocce practice. Wednesday we walked and stretched at College Park before going to lunch at Fazoli’s. Now today we go to Wendt Wildlife! Pics to follow!!!
