What a great couple of days! The Clark County Wi******er Heritage Commission was fortunate enough to sponsor and chaperone a guided tour of Frankfort, the capital, the governors mansion, and a special stop at the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial. A special thanks to retired Colonel Jerry Cecil for a wonderful presentation. Thank you to the teachers, bus drivers, and staff at RDC. The 7th graders were great!!

Thank you Merveille Mbonekube and The Wi******er Black History and Heritage Commission for collaborating with us in celebrating 100 years of Black History Month:A Time to Rise. We all throughly enjoyed listening to Merveille’s incredible life stories of moving throughout refugee camps from the Congo and her transition to America.
