🌸🌿 An Evening to Remember: The Clark County Equity Coalition's Secret Garden Gala! 🌿🌸

On October 3rd, we hosted our Secret Garden Gala, and it was a beautiful, memorable evening! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring our vision to life and joined us in celebrating the important work of the Clark County Equity Coalition.

🎤 **What an AMAZING kickoff!**

Today, **17 students** joined us for our first **Youth Toastmasters Leadership Program session at GRC!** They jumped right in with Table Topics, learned Toastmasters roles, and quickly discovered just how often those “ahs” and “umms” sneak in! 😄

We are BEYOND excited to watch these students build confidence, strengthen their voices, and grow as leaders!

A huge **thank you to GRC FRC Ms. Lightfoot** for all of her assistance! 👏🏾

I had a great time at the Wi******er-Clark County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Lunch. Coach Colene was awesome, and I had the chance to see some friends.

🌟 Our Achievers are off to an amazing start! 🌟

Our Black & Hispanic Achievers kicked off the year with a day full of history, culture, learning, and fun!

Students visited the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and the Holocaust & Humanity Center in Cincinnati, exploring powerful stories of courage, resilience, and the importance of understanding our history.

We ended the day celebrating culture and community at the Latino Festival in Lexington!

This is what the Achievers experience is all about: learning beyond the classroom, gaining exposure to new experiences, celebrating culture, and expanding how our students see themselves and the world around them.

And we're just getting started! 💙
