The 4th annual Wilton Pride Festival is right around the corner!

The Wilton Land Trust will be there with native Milkweed plugs for you to take and plant at home! Common Milkweed is a butterfly favorite (especially monarchs) and has lovely round clusters of pink flowers.

43 different bird species and 129 individuals were observed or heard last weekend at the Wilton Land Trust’s Birds & Binoculars event! 🐦‍⬛

Joe Bear, Wilton’s expert birder, led participants on a guided walk through Schenck’s Island. He aided in species ID, answered questions, and pointed out important pollinator plants. 🌱

For those who couldn’t make it, we will have another Birds & Binoculars during fall migration in late September! Stay tuned! 🌟

Reminiscing about the annual Frothy Forage event at 🍻🐢🎷

Wilton Land Trust volunteered and served delicious brews from and artisanal sodas from as folks stopped by for refreshments and a hands-on lesson in tadpoles and caddisflies.

We were just one incredible stop out of many on Woodcock's trails! Already looking forward to next year!

Join us this Sunday for an American Chestnut Tree Orchard clean up!

The American Chestnut tree used to dominate forests in the eastern U.S. until logging and a blight fungus decimated 99% of the population in the 20th century. The American Chestnut Foundation is working to develop a blight-resistant American Chestnut tree to restore it to eastern U.S. forests.
