Long before paved paths and boardwalks, generations traveled these landscapes by foot, following routes that connected neighbors, communities, and nature. Today, the Norwalk River Valley Trail is carrying that legacy forward—creating safe, accessible spaces where children can ride their first bike, families can explore together, friends can gather, and future generations can build memories of their own.

The NRVT is more than a trail. It's a bridge between our past and our future, preserving history while creating new traditions for everyone who calls Fairfield County home.

As each new mile is completed, we're not just connecting towns—we're connecting people, generations, and possibilities.
