Pace is a nonprofit organization that has served more than 40,000 girls since 1985. We believe all girls, regardless of their story, deserve a safe and supportive space where they can become strong, compassionate, and successful women. Pace combines education, counseling, and life skills coaching for girls in middle and high school at no cost. Our year-round academics and mental health supports work hand-in-hand to achieve a holistic and comprehensive path to success. The Pace Reach Program provides therapy where you are, offering social, emotional, and behavioral health and case management services for girls ages 11-17 and their families at no cost. Reach helps girls build relationships, learn communication skills, build positive coping skills, improve grades and more from the comfort of familiar places. The Reach Center provides individual and family counseling as well as diversion/civil citation services to girls 8-17. Pace Center for Girls receives support from the State of Florida, Department of Juvenile Justice.

Sometimes it’s the little moments that create the biggest memories.

For many of our girls, opportunities to simply enjoy being kids, celebrate special moments, and make lasting memories, aren’t always easy to come by. That’s why we believe in creating those moments right here at Pace Broward.

Our amazing staff transformed the hallways into a Halloween Spooktacular, giving our girls a chance to dress up, trick-or-treat, laugh, and enjoy a little Halloween magic together!

Every girl deserves to experience the joy of childhood, make memories that last, and have moments that remind her just how much she is celebrated.

At Pace Broward it’s about more than what happens in the classroom, it’s about creating experiences, building connections, and making sure our girls have plenty of reasons to smile.

As part of Spooktacular Week, our girls' advisory groups put their creativity and teamwork to the test by decorating a door in celebration of Halloween and Red Ribbon Week.

The results are nothing short of amazing! From imaginative designs to thoughtful details, these doors showcase just how talented and creative our girls are. But beyond the decorations, each door shares an important message: making healthy choices and saying NO to drugs.

Take a look at the designs and vote for your favorite. Let’s show our girls some love and celebrate their creativity!

Her Path, Her Pace: 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗹𝗶𝗸

Sometimes, the greatest opportunities are the ones you never saw coming!

From moving to the U.S. from Puerto Rico at age 11 and learning English through soap operas to becoming Chief Strategy Officer at Berger Singerman, Jessica Pavlik’s journey is a powerful reminder that success doesn’t always follow a traditional path.

During our latest Her Path, Her Pace session, Jessica shared valuable lessons about taking chances, embracing the unexpected, and surrounding yourself with people who believe in your potential.

Her message to our girls? 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥. Sometimes, the biggest opportunities come from simply having the courage to show up, stay in the room, and believe you belong there.

Thank you, Jessica, for inspiring our girls to embrace their journeys, trust their abilities, and remain open to all that’s possible!

We were thrilled to welcome Leadership Broward’s Class XLV, 45 for 35 team to Pace Broward for a tour and firsthand look at our mission and programs! During their visit, the team also had the opportunity to connect with our Executive Director, Ashley King, and learn more about our vision for the future.

We’re especially grateful to have been selected as one of just eight nonprofits out of more than 40 applicants for a class project. This opportunity allows us to share our impact, build new connections, and strengthen our work in the community.

Thank you, Leadership Broward Foundation, for recognizing Pace Broward and investing in our mission. We’re excited for the team’s passion and commitment in helping us build for the future.

Here’s to 35 years of impact and building what’s next!

A special thank you to Emerge Broward, Wilton Manors Police Department, our Board members, volunteers and community partners for helping make these moments possible.

A little teamwork goes a long way! 💙

A big thank you to our friends at Chase Bank for spending a day at Pace Broward! After touring our campus and learning more about our programs, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help organize and refresh our indoor multipurpose spaces.

We appreciate community partners who show up, lend a hand and help us create welcoming spaces for our girls!

A month of culture, creativity, and celebration!

Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, our girls explored the richness and diversity of Hispanic culture through food, traditions, and inspirational leaders who have made a lasting impact on the world. They wrapped up the month with a special celebration, presenting projects on influential Hispanic leaders and changemakers while creating their own musical instruments!

At Pace Broward, we believe learning about different cultures helps our girls grow in understanding, appreciation, and respect for the world around them. Here’s to celebrating the stories, contributions, and traditions that make our communities so vibrant!
