Today, we are proud to share Matt Patterson’s story.

Matt’s journey is one of resilience, determination, and the power of second chances. Like many individuals who come through our doors, there was a time when he believed his past defined his future. Through support, recovery, and a community that believed in him, Matt was able to rebuild his life one step at a time.

Today, Matt serves as Broward House’s Director of Contracts and Performance Management, using his experience and passion to help strengthen the programs and services that impact so many lives in our community.

His story is a powerful reminder of what can happen when people are met with compassion, opportunity, and the support they need to move forward.

It’s June and June is officially pride month & for this month, Broward House will be at the Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Parade & Street Festival for its 26th anniversary and we are looking for amazing volunteers to help make this year pride festival and parade unforgettable.

What a wonderful evening.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for our Volunteer, Rider, Crew, and Restaurant Partner Appreciation Reception. The room was filled with people who have helped make Broward House stronger through their generosity, dedication, and support.

To our volunteers who give their time, our Joy Riders and Crew members who ride with purpose, and our Dining Out For Life restaurant partners who opened their doors and gave back to our community, thank you. Your support helps make our work possible and allows us to continue serving those who rely on Broward House.

A special thank you to our amazing Broward House Kitchen team for preparing the evening’s hors d’oeuvres. Your hard work and talent helped make the event even more memorable.

Over the years, so many incredible people have shown up for Broward House.

Our volunteers gave their time. Our restaurant partners opened their doors and supported our mission. Our Joy Riders and Crew members pedaled countless miles with purpose. And our community volunteers stepped in wherever they were needed most.

You showed up for us, time and time again.

Now it's our turn to show up for you.

Join us as we celebrate the people who have helped make our work possible. This appreciation reception is our way of saying thank you for the dedication, generosity, and heart you've poured into Broward House over the years.

We absolutely love graduations. It’s one of the most fulfilling times for us here at Broward House, because we get to see people step into a new chapter of their lives.

There’s something really special about this moment. All the hard days, the growth, the small wins that don’t always get seen… it all leads up to this‼️

To our graduates, we are so proud of you. Truly we wish you the best as you move forward, and we hope you continue to build on everything you have started here.
