Luna requires 5 AM rock selection and bunny escapee catching. She also chewed my computer cord. 😑 Luckily, it was unplugged because I didn’t trust her to not escape. What a high maintenance girl. 🙄

She pulled the shorter area of her pen towards her then hopped over it. She was easily caught because she saw that I put breakfast in the pen and while I was getting rocks she tried to get back into her pen for breakfast. 🤣 She was between the wall and the pen, so I was able to grab her. She loves food! It’s clear she loves the security of having her meals delivered. She runs right out for them. She no longer has to work so hard for survival and a meal. ❤️ She is warming up quickly to this domesticated life. 💕

🐮 Join us for a free tour! ‼️ Registration is required! Spots limited. Only a few sessions are being offered this year due to our ongoing expansion projects that are left over from last year. We do as much labor as possible to ensure your support goes all towards the animals. That’s why we have limited times for tours this year. We wish we could be in multiple places at once, but it’s not possible ☹️

If you wish you could visit at a different time for a private tour, become a sponsor! We offer our sponsors’ visits on their schedule. Our sponsors make this work possible, so it’s a wonderful perk for their generosity. Sponsorship can be as small as $1 a month, but still makes an impact on a sanctuary life.

Want more animal time? Consider volunteering. Help us with our projects and more. ❤️

We hope to see you soon!

Transitions are hard for animals. Especially ones that have been wild and free like Luna. She has been feral since birth and doesn’t know what a home is or why these strange humans want to spend time with her. But honestly…it’s a little over a week from her rescue and she is emerging from her shell. She is not as scared of us and will take leafy greens from our hands. Really good signs!

She still has 2 stuffies left for sponsors! Become a sponsor and change a life today! 🐰

We are getting SO close! We raised $715! Can we get to $2,000 by 5 PM today?

💧 Having water access when and where we need it is vital to our sustainability and growth. We can’t care for the animals or add more animal friends without it. ❤️

🔔 NH Gives is NOW open until Wednesday June 10 at 5 PM!

💧We are hoping to raise $2,000 for water installation!

We installed the water conduits in Fall 2025 and now need to finish the job. These funds will add water to 4 key locations…

🏠 The Feed Cottage: Right now we are carrying down 5 gallon containers to make the meals for the animals. Multiple animals need a wet mash due to their old age or health needs.

🐮 The cows: We’ve been running a 100 foot hose 365 days a year for 3 years, even in the winter. We’ve trudged through 4 feet plus of snow drifts to get water to the cow gals.

🐰 The Fluffle Flat: A hydrant near the bunny cottage is ready to provide water to an outdoor Remembrance Veggie Garden to feed the herd. They all love fresh veggies.

🌾 Queen’s wish pasture so that we can easily provide water to the animals when they are grazing. Plus this site allows for future expansion…maybe it can be home to more animals one day. 💕

Water access is vital to our operations! By contributing to this project you are making so much possible now and in the future.

❤️ As always, thank you for your support.

Help us welcome this girl by getting her some sponsors! She needs to be spayed and actually needs a set up with a roof because we learned she is a climber. 😬 She is 100% wild because she was born outside and has never had interactions like this with humans or been in a home. It’s all a scary new world to her and she is just trying to survive.

Luna’s Story 🐇

In April 2025, we got word of abandoned pet bunnies roaming a local neighborhood. We stepped into action and were able to secure one (Cho) and could not catch her friend. We thought there were only two bunnies and Cho’s friend was taken by predators until....fast forward to June 2026! Co-founder Jen saw a community facebook post about a pet bunny roaming the very same neighborhood that Cho was found in 2025. Then someone commented how one bunny made a home in their shed and has been living on their property for over a year. We sprang into action to rescue this bunny who defied all odds. It was a terrible cold winter with multiple cold snaps in the negative double digits. How did she survive? Well, she lived in their lawnmover and tucked herself up under the blades. While there, she had dried grass. This sustained her through the harsh winter months. Thankfully, the homeowners were amazing and allowed us set traps to catch her. And we did!

Luna is somehow related by blood to Cho. She could be her daughter or grandaughter or neice. We learned that Cho was dumped with 6 other pet bunnies in April 2025. None were spayed or neutered, so they had babies. Luna was a baby in 2025 and could be the daughter of Cho. Too bad we can’t do a bunny genetic test, but they are 100% family in origin. Now, a family reunited!

Your contribution allows us to continue this work. We run 100% on donations and volunteers!
