🍂 Fall Projects, Club Collaboration & Appreciation! 🍂

Crisp temperatures, falling leaves, and an early morning road trip for Coach Ed! 🚛

At 5:00 AM, Coach Ed hit the road with the truck and trailer, leaving New Hampshire and arriving in Connecticut by 8:00 AM.

A HUGE thank you to Fay and Wright Rock Crushing out of Goshen, Connecticut as well as SWSA President and Eastern Chair Ken Barker, who helped secure the belting needed for the AOC K18 and K38 projects! 🖤❤️

Collaboration and support among our ski jumping clubs are what make our sport so special. We are incredibly grateful for the people who step up, lend a hand, and help move our sport forward!

Belting? Yup, belting! 👀

It’s an important part of the process! The belting is laid down over the ground before the landing hill plastic is installed, helping prepare the hill for the next phase of the project.

The Andover Outing Club has some BIG projects underway and exciting fundraising efforts in progress! We’re looking for people who want to be part of the excitement, lend a hand, or support our fundraising goals.

It is with profound sadness that the Andover Outing Club announces the passing of its founder, Tim Norris.

Tim passed peacefully in the night of October 5. While unexpected and heartbreaking, it is consoling that a man as loved and revered as Tim was granted the honor of passing from this life quickly and with dignity. He no doubt will be remembered for his accolades and influence as a coach and a teacher. The character that he presented will be as much or even more so remembered though. He’ll be remembered for the kindness that he treated every person he met; for the joy and mirth that he’s so often showed when the stakes were down; for the empathy and tact he showed his students and peers; and for the bottomless love that he’s so easily showcased to anybody lucky enough to call him friend.

Tim loved this sport, this club and this community almost as much as he loved his family. His legacy and memory will far outlive the time that he spent with us all. Fly high, Tim. We’ll miss that laugh, that enthusiasm, and that twinkle in your eye.

NH coaches Ryan Killion and Will Raincourt will attend US Ski Jumping coaching clinics during the 2026 national championships.

The Ski Jumping community lost two really good ones this September, and far too soon. Ryan Cutter (Ford Sayre) and Jeremy Carter (Andover Outing Club), came up through the Eastern Division ranks in the 90s, competing here in Andover, at Oak Hill in Hanover, and at jumps throughout the region and Nation. They were part of a special generation of ski jumpers who helped put the Eastern Division on the path to where it is today. The Andover Air Force vs the Ford Sayre Flyers. It was a rivalry that produced great athletes in multiple disciplines, but more importantly it created friendships that have lasted until today. Separate clubs but really members of a larger community that we all cherish so much.

We want to send our deepest condolences and our thoughts to their families, friends, and everyone in the ski jumping community who had the privilege of knowing them.

May they both rest in peace, and may their memories live on through our efforts as we continue to support the sport we all love.

We are absolutely heartbroken for all of the male and female Nordic Combined athletes around the world.

The decision by the International Olympic Committee to remove Nordic Combined from the Olympic program, rather than expand it to include women’s competition, is devastating. This is not the outcome our athletes, coaches, families, and supporters had hoped for.

These athletes dedicate countless hours, years of sacrifice, and unwavering passion to a sport they love. They deserve the opportunity to compete on the world’s biggest stage.

Today, we stand with the entire Nordic Combined community. We will continue to support our athletes and advocate for the future of this incredible sport.

🇺🇸 Happy Birthday, America! ❤️🤍💙

Today, the Andover Outing Club celebrated the red, white, and blue in style!

Our parade float featured a giant birthday cake and a backyard BBQ, but the surprise hit of the day? Handing out random slices of watermelon! 🍉 Who knew such a simple treat would bring so many smiles?

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on, waved, and helped make today’s celebration so much fun. We hope everyone had a safe and happy Fourth of July!

☀️ How did you celebrate the Summer Solstice? ☀️

The AOC athletes made the most of the longest day of the year by inviting friends from across the Eastern ski jumping community to join them for an incredible day of summer jumping! The athletes kept Coach Ed busy for nearly 4.5 hours on the hill before wrapping up the day with awards and a BBQ.

Our jumpers were especially excited for the opportunity to show the NESJNC community the skills and techniques they have been working hard to develop this offseason. The day was filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and plenty of jumps.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. Events like these highlight what makes the Eastern ski jumping community so special.

AOC is excited to play all summer long, so keep an eye on our posts and emails for upcoming training sessions, events, and adventures. We can’t wait to share what we have planned! ☀️⛷️🔥
