Some dogs come to us needing a little extra love. Oliver came needing a lot.

This handsome 7-year-old Yorkshire Terrier arrived from a neglectful situation carrying more than just emotional scars. He was suffering from a painful ear polyp that was affecting his hearing and a luxating patella, a condition that caused his kneecap to repeatedly slip out of place and made walking uncomfortable that required immediate surgery. Despite everything he had endured, Oliver remained sweet, gentle, and trusting.

Today, we are thrilled to share that Oliver has successfully undergone both surgeries, has healed beautifully, and is finally ready to find the forever family he deserves.

At 18 pounds, Oliver is the perfect size for cuddling on the couch, accompanying you on leisurely walks, or soaking up the sunshine on a warm afternoon. He thrives in a quiet, relaxed home where he can enjoy the simple things in life. Oliver gets along well with other dogs, doesn't mind cats, and loves nothing more than curling up beside his favorite person for a nap.

Oliver is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped!

Oliver has already overcome so much in his life. Now all he needs is a family willing to give him the love, comfort, and security he's always deserved.

If you're looking for a best friend with big paws, an even bigger heart, and enough goofy energy to keep you smiling every day, look no further than Jerry!
At just 3 months old and already 23 pounds, this handsome boy is well on his way to becoming a big dog. We suspect he's a Hound/Lab mix, but whatever his breed makeup may be, one thing is certain—he is 100% adorable.
Jerry is a sweet, loving puppy who is equal parts playful and clumsy. He loves making new friends, exploring the world around him, and then crashing for a well-earned nap. He's the kind of puppy who can turn even the most ordinary day into an adventure.

Meet Josephine!

This sweet little lady recently joined the Hamilton's Healing Hearts family, and we are already completely smitten. At just 7 weeks old and 4.5 pounds, Josephine may be tiny, but she has a big personality packed into that little body!

While we can't know for sure, we believe Josephine is a hound/Labrador mix. Based on her current size, we don't expect her to grow into a very large dog, but one thing is certain, she is going to grow into an amazing companion.

Josephine loves all the important puppy things: playing with toys, snuggling up for naps, and making sure she never misses a meal. She is curious, affectionate, and always ready to brighten someone's day with her sweet puppy antics.

She is settling into foster care, learning the ropes, and soaking up all the love she can get. We can't wait to watch her grow and find the forever family she deserves.

💔 Sully is hurting, and we need your help. 💔

Look at that face.

That smile.

If you met Sully today, you'd never know that this sweet boy is living with pain.

When we rescued Sully from a local shelter, we thought his hardest days were finally behind him. He was safe. He was loved. He never had to worry about being alone again.

Then we learned about the mass.

Sully has a re**al mass that our veterinarian recommends removing as soon as possible. It causes him discomfort every day and at times leaves him in pain. Yet he still greets us with a wagging tail. He still looks up at us with those trusting eyes. He still believes that everything is going to be okay.

The truth is, Sully doesn't know that surgery costs money.

He doesn't know that his procedure is estimated to cost between $777 and $1,422.

He doesn't know that we're worried about how we're going to pay for it.

He only knows that he finally has people who care about him.

And we refuse to let him down.

It would have been easier to walk away. It would have been easier to focus on healthy, highly adoptable dogs. But that has never been who we are. We exist for dogs like Sully—the seniors, the medical cases, the forgotten ones, and the ones others pass by. When a dog needs help, we do everything we can to say yes. Today, we're asking for your help so we can continue saying yes to Sully.

For who knows how long, Sully lived without anyone advocating for him. Now he has an entire community behind him, and we're asking you to help us give him the relief he desperately needs.

Every donation, no matter the amount, brings Sully closer to surgery. Every share helps his story reach someone who may be able to help.

Please help us remove Sully's painful mass and give him the comfortable, happy life he deserves.

From a Shed to a Loving Home ❤️

When Momma Brie came into our care, her focus was on raising her five beautiful puppies; Colby, Jack, Cheddar, Gouda, and Feta. Once her puppies were healthy, thriving, and adopted into loving homes, it was finally Brie’s turn to receive the care she deserved.

A thorough veterinary exam revealed that Brie was heartworm positive. Thanks to the generosity of one of our incredible supporters, her heartworm treatment was fully sponsored, and Brie successfully completed every step of her treatment journey.

Today, we are thrilled to share that Brie has found her happily ever after. She now has an amazing mom and dad, along with two sweet little boys who adore her. After surviving life in a garden shed and raising her puppies under difficult circumstances, Brie is finally experiencing what every dog deserves—a safe home, a warm bed, and a family who loves her unconditionally.

Stories like Brie's are why we do what we do. Thank you to everyone who supported her journey and helped give this deserving girl the second chance she always deserved.

When I first started this rescue Zeus was one of the first dogs I found a home for. A good friend of mine who I worked with when I was at the county shelter passed away unexpectedly and Zeus was her everything. He was not gonna make it out of the shelter alive so I stepped in and found him an amazing home in Pennsylvania. We arranged transport and Zeus was off to his new home where he stayed since 2019. Today I found out Zeus passed away unexpectedly as well. Zeus lived an amazing life and I know Nancy would have been forever grateful to Keith and his family. Rest easy over the rainbow bridge Zeus 🌈🐕
