Saving Dogs 4 Betty's Sake was born out of love animals the founder shared with her mother. Through the years this love has saved many lives and impacted the families who have adopted the furbabies. In 2022 we took the leap into forming a 501(c)3 that can live on beyond our own lives. We have very few fosters, could always use more dedicated help and volunteers. We have some of the most passionate

Seven tiny little fourteen week old papllion mix puppies are up for adoption. (Mama dog was pregnant when pulled from the shelter, so no idea what daddy was.)

🚨FINAL PLEA 🚨 Dacshund mixes x2 (SPICY) -- Jacksonville NC

COMMITMENT NEEDED BY: 5/22
We are making one last push for these two young female dachshund mixes. Both came in as strays and are in desperate need of decompression and experienced handling outside of the shelter environment.
🐾 White female (~11 lbs)
She has started to come around and is becoming more tolerant of interaction (still doesn't allow ahndling). While still under-socialized and nervous, she is showing progress with consistency and patience.
🐾 Black/Tan female (~18 lbs)
Still quite defensive and reactive. She requires experienced handling and remains the more behaviorally concerning of the two.
Due to handling limitations, we have still been unable to complete heartworm testing.
These dogs are NOT candidates for public adoption placement at this time. They need rescue partners experienced in behavior work, decompression, fearful/small dog handling, and allowing dogs time to settle safely.
They do better separate - white female feeds off the black one.
There is potential here in the right hands — but time and environment matter greatly for dogs like these.
