Your next leadership opportunity could shape a child’s future. 🏆

The YMCA of Greater Montgomery is hiring a Vice President of Athletics to lead the growth and impact of Youth Sports across our Association.

We’re looking for a visionary, results-driven leader who can build strong teams, develop community partnerships, and create opportunities for more children to play, grow, and belong.

In this role, you’ll guide our Youth Sports team, strengthen sponsorships and recruitment, and expand participation through girls’ sports, new sports, and adaptive programming—all while keeping recreation, player development, and positive experiences at the heart of our work.

At the Y, every season is an opportunity to build confidence, teach character, and bring families together. Your leadership will help young people discover what they’re capable of and develop skills that last far beyond the game.

If you bring strategic vision, a talent for building relationships, and a passion for developing people, we want to hear from you.

Lead with purpose. Build opportunities. Apply today: https://ow.ly/uWje5101lUO

🎃💙 More Than Costumes and Food—We're Delivering Hope and Making a Difference!

The YMCA of Greater Montgomery had the opportunity to spread joy and make a meaningful impact in our community through our Halloween costume delivery and food giveaway!

What may seem like a simple costume or a bag of groceries can mean so much more to a family. It's about creating opportunities for children to experience the excitement of Halloween while helping families access essential resources and feel supported.

At the Y, we believe that strengthening our community starts with showing up for one another. Initiatives like these remind us that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.

💙 A heartfelt thank you to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank, and everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make these efforts possible. Your generosity allows us to continue meeting the needs of our community and bringing our mission to life.

Together, we're doing more than giving back. We're creating opportunities, supporting families, and building a stronger, healthier community for all.
