Every summer tells a story, and for many families — it starts at the pool!

The excitement of a child putting their face in the water for the first time. The pride of learning a new skill. The confidence that comes from knowing how to stay safe around water. These are the moments that create lasting memories—and they're happening this summer at the Wetumpka YMCA.

Our swim lessons for ages 3 and up are designed to help children of all skill levels grow stronger, safer, and more confident in the water. Please join us in welcoming Quentin P. Riggins to our Association Board of Directors! 👏

Quentin serves as Senior Vice President of Community Affairs and Southern Division for Alabama Power, where he leads external and community development efforts across south-central Alabama, including Montgomery. With decades of experience in government affairs, corporate relations, and community leadership, he has dedicated his career to serving the people and communities of Alabama.

A Montgomery native and Auburn University graduate, Quentin has held influential leadership roles in state government, business advocacy, and corporate affairs, while continuing to champion education, service, and community impact across the state.

We are honored to have Quentin’s leadership, experience, and passion for community helping guide our mission forward. Welcome to the Y family!
