Did you know pollinators are responsible for 1 out of every 3 bites of food we eat? We can thank bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other tiny garden MVPs for helping our flowers bloom and our tables stay full!

We’re excited to announce that Main Street Wetumpka is teaming up with the City of Wetumpka, AL Government to host Wetumpka Pollinator Week, June 22–27!

We’ve got a week of fun planned, including educational programs, family-friendly activities, garden fun, and community events celebrating the pollinators that keep our world growing. 🦋

🚧 MORE. PARKING. IS. COMING. 🚧

Yes, the gravel lot between Spring Street & Company Street is closed while work begins on MORE PARKING, sidewalks, streetlights, and a new public restroom. Progress takes time… but after 87 years of hearing “we need more parking,” it’s finally happening.

Most importantly: downtown businesses are STILL ACCESSIBLE.

Additional parking is still available near Orline Street and beside Coosa River Craft House.
