I just spent two incredible weeks in Kenya with a team from The Springs Church in Jacksonville, Florida.

It was a blessing hosting and serving with this amazing team. They poured their hearts into the girls at our home through their teachings on salvation, the Father’s love, and forgiveness, through creative crafts, thoughtful gifts, and so much love!!

The team was also able to dedicate a new church that they planted In a remote community where families had no church within walking distance. A local man generously donated a piece of land and The Springs Church stepped in and put up a building—a place where people can worship and be discipled for generations to come.

To The Springs Church: Thank you so very much for saying yes, for serving so wholeheartedly, and for leaving a lasting mark on Kenya. Can’t wait for next time!

We cannot wait to share about our Summer Trip to Moldova over the next few weeks. Here’s a quick recap from youth camp!!!

What a special week at AIM Moldova Youth Camp! 🇲🇩❤️

For five incredible days, around 40 teenagers from across our AIM Moldova ministry came together for a week filled with worship, friendship, fun, and time in God’s Word.

The days were packed with morning devotions, relay races, volleyball, and lots of laughter. Each evening, everyone gathered for worship, games, and teaching as we watched God move in such a special way. It was encouraging to see these young people grow closer to the Lord and to one another throughout the week.

One of the sweetest memories came on the final night, which happened to be the Fourth of July. Around a bonfire, we shared s’mores, watermelon, sodas, and celebrated with our Moldovan friends, who were surprised with red, white, and blue shirts collected by supporters here at home. It was a beautiful reminder that while we come from different countries, we are one family in Christ.

The week ended with a powerful time of prayer as students prayed for one another, for family members who don’t yet know Jesus, and that God would continue drawing hearts to Himself.

We’re so thankful for everyone who helped make this camp possible—especially Emma Hamby, Lydia Hamby, Emily Armstrong, the AIM Moldova staff, and the many volunteers who poured their hearts into these students.

Please continue praying for these teenagers, that the seeds planted this week will continue to grow and bear fruit for years to come. ❤️

Today we are thankful for the many freedoms we enjoy and for those who have faithfully served and sacrificed to protect them.

As we gather with family and friends, we also pause to pray for our nation—that we would be a people marked by wisdom, compassion, humility, and hope.

Starting Today Anything Is Possible!

Every summer in Moldova, for the almost forty kids in our homes, we pull out all the stops to make sure every one of our incredible teenagers enjoy an unforgettable time of refreshing and blessing at our annual summer camp.

There’s just something about camp that opens hearts and opens the door for profound encounters in the lives of our young people.

They’ve been through the mill in their lives, some facing heartbreak, some coming from brutal poverty, others surviving abuse, still others recovering from being abandoned – you name it, they’ve dealt with it.

But at summer camp, amidst all the fun, the relaxing atmosphere, the total change of pace from school and all the responsibilities of life, anything can happen – lives change, attitudes soften, old wounds heal.

As I write, camp started today, and six of our Alabama leadership team are there working with them, ministering to them from morning till night, pouring into their lives.

Thank you for your prayers and support and for making all this possible. Your generous love is changing their lives right now as they experience this year’s camp. Please pray for them!

One of our favorite things about summer is slowing down enough to enjoy the simple things—taking walks, exploring God’s creation, and seeing the world through the eyes of a child.

These little moments may seem ordinary, but they are the building blocks of childhood memories, trust, and growth.

Thank you for helping provide a safe place where these precious children can learn, play, and thrive.
