Today, we gathered in remembrance and gratitude for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, selflessness, and devotion to freedom will never be forgotten. As we honor their memory this Memorial Day, we also stand beside the families who carry their legacy in their hearts every day. May we always remember that freedom comes at a great cost, and may we strive to live in a way that honors those who gave all.

On Friday, the VFW and Auxiliary members were honored to present a $1,000 donation to the Elmore County High School Band program. We were especially grateful for the opportunity to hear the Jazz Band perform and to witness the incredible talent and dedication of these students.

This donation was made possible through the April entertainment fees contributed by our patrons, as well as the continued support of our VFW and Auxiliary members during band nights at the Post.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this contribution possible. Your support helps us continue giving back and to support our community.
