📚❤️ Hurlbutt PTO 2026 Fall Community Service Project: Share the Love of Reading! 📚❤️

We’re excited to launch a special fall community service project focused on kindness, generosity, and the joy of giving! ❤️

Each Hurlbutt classroom will receive a copy of "Those Shoes" by Maribeth Boelts, a heartwarming story that encourages children to think about the importance of kindness and helping others.

After reading the story, students will have the opportunity to put those lessons into action by participating in a gently used book drive throughout November! 📖

Families are invited to donate gently used books that can be passed along to others through our partnership with Lachat Farm.
Collection dates: 11/9-11/20
Drop-off location: Please send in books with your child to school or drop them off. There will be collection bins at the LRC as well as in each classroom.
Books should be: gently used, in good condition, and age-appropriate for [5-8 years]
Donated books will go to: Books4everyone

Thank you for helping us teach our Hurlbutt students the power of giving back! 💙💛
