The HIVE's first public event - The Artist Storyshare where artists share their stories of "Unexpected Human Pollination" where an unexpected collaboration that they didn't expect turned into something life changing! This Sunday June 9 2-4pm. FREE with Registration at The Westport Library website or use the QR code in the image to go to The HIVE's website and look for Upcoming events. Come and be inspired and then share your own thoughts in the Community Conversation that follows! See you there!

What Is The Artist Storyshare?
The theme of “Unexpected Human Pollination” is, simply put, about coming together to collaborate with others whose mindsets, approaches and/or backgrounds are completely different from your own with surprising or inspiring results. Artists share their art & true (5 min) stories on this theme from the wonderful stage at The Westport Library.
(Artists note: Art does not have to match your story!)

After the stories, we will open up a community conversation with the audience on the theme. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Hello Beechwood Community! We are thrilled to announce that The HIVE is finally HERE! We have worked hard over the past year, transitioning from beautiful Beechwood where we together built such an alive, connected and collaborative community to a mission for the HIVE that goes even deeper into community connection and understanding within and between communities - fueled by Arts, Dialogue, Ideas & Transformation!

We cannot wait to host everyone and, in honor of our opening, we have scheduled 2 FREE Inaugural Events to celebrate - each held at the amazing, lively and rocking The Westport Library

The events are on June 9 2-4pm , An Artist Storyshare on "Unexpected Human Pollination" and Frederic Chiu's LID Sessions on June 23 2-4pm Go to our spanking new website http://TheHivebyBeechwood.org for all the scoop on those great events and the full launch of The HIVE. There you can also APPLY as an Artist for the Artist Storyshare or APPLY as a Pianist to play for The LID Sessions with Frederic Chiu or RESERVE a Seat In The Audience to come connect and enjoy!
