Aurora IS the nosy neighbor at Christine’s Critters. NOTHING escapes her attention!

Aurora loves her trout days! We usually get a fish-flop walk, no waste and a BIG bite to wrap up the meal! Love this eagle. 🦅

Sound on for this video.

We constantly say that when working with birds of prey, you must ALWAYS respect the power in the beaks and talons. Listen to the sound of the power of an eagle’s beak as Aurora tears up a porgy.

Happy Tuesday from headless on one talon Aurora 😂 Just be yourself!

Amelia is our self appointed air traffic controller here at Christine’s Critters. She will give us her iconic red tailed hawk scream for anything that dares to fly in HER airspace.

If there is nothing there, we still get to hear from Amelia❤️

Kestrels are big insect eaters in the wild and rely on us to not “poison” their food sources.

Due to the widespread use of pesticides and insecticides, mostof our insect eating birds are in decline, including American kestrels.

Rachel Carson in her famous book, Silent Spring, stated that pesticides and insecticides should be called “biocides”

We agree with that designation as pesticides and insecticides don’t just kill “pests and/or insects” they are indiscriminant and poison
all life up the food chain.

We must be better stewards.

As you enjoy watching Queso enjoying his insects for lunch, remember him and let’s work together to make the world a safer
place for his wild counterparts
