Listen, play, sing, laugh... repeat. There's always something happening at the PCA... at least for a couple more weekends. Then, there'll still be things, just not as many until we return in September. If you've been meaning to catch a concert or some comedy... carpe diem!!

... TONIGHT! Olivia Nied is an American singer, songwriter, arranger, producer and multi-instrumental performer known for her Indie Folk/Rock music. Trained at Goldsmiths London University, the Berklee College of Music jazz program, and the Vermont Jazz Center, Olivia toured in the U.S., performed at music festivals in the UK and played clubs in London, Paris and Amsterdam. She also composed for modern dance, recorded solo and with various bands and ensembles, incorporating rock, new-grass, punk-pop and jazz influences!

As an emerging artist, Olivia's skilled musicianship has gained the attention of many. Fender Guitars has been promoting video of her improvisational playing which has accrued 14,000 views on the company's social media platform! Olivia's latest solo album “Just Enough” is a collection of original songs that cross genres blending elements of folk, rock and roll, pop-punk and R&B and lyrically drawing from her lived experience as a neurodivergent, transgender young person pursuing radical joy against all odds. Olivia sang lead and harmony vocals and played and arranged all guitar, bass, piano, synthesizer, violin and percussion parts on the record as well. Songs from “Just Enough” have been included on group playlists in the UK and the Netherlands.

Catch Olivia performing tonight at the PCA. Cabaret Seating. BYOB & Snacks. Advanced Tickets: https://parisharts.square.site/product/6-13-26-olivia-nied/XC47AAIFPODGXVQPTMCJABHR ($20; $22); $25 at the door.

- Calling all sinners and saints! After far too long not being on the PCA stage, THE CHURCH LADIES will be preachin' and praisin', not to mention rockin' and rollin' 10 Lincoln Street in just a couple of weeks in a special service on June 21. So put on your Sunday best (florals, feathers & all things festive encouraged), pack your picnics, and prepare your offering (aka get your tickets) to this inspirationally fun event that'll show you a path straight to heaven!

Expect an evening of music and laughter. The Church Ladies have been performing since 2002, blending guitars, ukuleles and original music with a playful stage presence. Despite its name and costumes, the band is not religious (nor does it disparage religion) and aims to create a fun, inclusive atmosphere. ALL are welcome!

After many years as a software engineer, Dan Tappan tired of working for corporations and decided to look for other creative outlets. His lifelong love of folk music prompted him to get serious about playing, and he started participating in the local open mike scene. Eventually Dan discovered that crafting lyrics and melodies tickled the same creative brain as designing software and he began writing his own songs.

Dan writes lyrical songs steeped from snippets of life, seasoned with dashes of humor and whimsy, a dusting of philosophy, and an occasional pinch of pathos. Get to know Dan a bit better at https://dantappanmusic.com.
