Our Care Initiatives Hospice leadership team gathered in West Des Moines for an inspiring day of leadership development, team building, and reflecting on our accomplishments throughout the past year.

A highlight of the day was giving back to the community by donating perishable food items to the West Des Moines donation center. Supporting the communities we serve is an important part of who we are, and we were grateful for the opportunity to make a difference together.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Deanna and Jason, who led an engaging session on PI Assessments. Their insights helped our leaders better understand themselves and one another, strengthening teamwork and fostering greater self-awareness.

To wrap up the day, our team put those collaboration skills to the test with a fun trip to the escape rooms. It was a great reminder that strong teams are built through communication, trust, and a little fun along the way!

For older adults and those receiving care, even a one-hour shift can affect sleep, meals and daily activities. Taking things one step at a time and sticking to familiar schedules can help make the adjustment easier.

Had such a fun time at the 1st Annual Trick or Treat event at Attivo Trail Ankeny - 55+ Active Living Community! Such a great community of staff & residents who were extremely welcoming and fun to be with 😆A huge thank you to their staff for putting on this wonderful event. 🧡Even had some of the cutest visitors stop by! 🥰

If you're looking for a sign to drop lunch off to some very hard-working health care workers, here it is! 😀 We brought in McDonald's for the team members at Stratford Specialty Care and they absolutely LOVED it! This facility truly operates as a family and have some of the most dedicated individuals serving their residents. Thank you for all that you do! 💝
