Cub Scout Pack 266 Pack 266 is the local Scouting America Cub Scout unit for Suffield and West Suffield CT. We meet the first and third Monday at WSCC, 1408 Mountain Rd @ 6PM.

We have officially entered the POUTINE COUNTDOWN.

Soon, the fryers will be hot.

The gravy will be flowing.

The cheese curds will be squeaking.

And somewhere, a nutritionist will suddenly feel a disturbance in the Force.

Pack 266 is serving the best poutine south of the St. John at Suffield on the Green.

Archery looks simple.

Pick up the bow.
Nock the arrow.
Pull back.
Aim.
Let it fly.

Then you discover just how much goes into hitting that target.

Your stance matters. Your grip matters. Your breathing matters. And sometimes the hardest part is having the patience to slow down, listen, and try again.

That’s part of what makes Cub Scouts so much fun.

Kids get opportunities to try things like archery in an environment where they can learn safely, build confidence, discover new skills, and occasionally surprise themselves with a bullseye.

12 DAYS UNTIL POUTINE.

Some foods nourish the body.

Others nourish the soul.

Poutine looked at that choice and said, “Why don’t we just pour gravy over everything?”

Pack 266 will be serving up fries, cheese curds and gravy at Suffield on the Green.

The best poutine south of the St. John.

Possibly the least defensible thing you’ll eat all weekend.

Definitely worth it.

Is poutine healthy?

No.

Is it nutritionally balanced?

Also no.

Does a pile of crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds and hot gravy taste like it may have been handed down from the gods themselves?

Absolutely.

Pack 266 is bringing the best poutine south of the St. John back to Suffield on the Green.

TWO WEEKS UNTIL POUTINE.

In just 14 days, Cub Scout Pack 266 will once again ask the important question:

What happens when you take perfectly innocent french fries, cover them in cheese curds, drown the whole situation in hot gravy, and pretend calories are somebody else’s problem?

You get the best poutine south of the St. John.

We’re coming back to Suffield on the Green, and yes—we’re putting the Big E food truck on notice.
