💙 A Neckerchief Worth Keeping 💙

Every Cub Scout collects memories.

A first campfire.
A first hike.
A first Pinewood Derby race.
A first time standing up in front of their Pack.

For 2026, Pack 266 wanted a neckerchief that could collect those memories too.

That's why we're introducing our new custom tie-dye neckerchiefs!

Instead of replacing neckerchiefs year after year, Scouts will wear the same neckerchief throughout their Cub Scout adventure. It saves families money, creates a stronger sense of identity, and gives every Scout something they'll recognize years from now when they look back on their Cub Scout days.

And because each tie-dye pattern is unique, every Scout's neckerchief is a little different—just like every Scout.

The adventures may change.
The rank may change.
The Scout will certainly grow.

That’s basically the energy of the entire Pack 266 Cub Scout program heading into 2026. 😎🐺

We wanted something that looked FUN.
Something kids would actually be excited to wear.

I almost didn’t sign my kids up for Cub Scouts because I thought we were “joining late.”

It felt like everyone already knew each other. Like we had somehow missed the moment to start.

I could not have been more wrong.

Within weeks, my kids were climbing aboard battleships, laughing around campfires, learning new skills, making friends, and asking every single week if it was “Scout night” yet.

What I’ve learned is that Cub Scouts doesn’t care when you start. The adventure is already happening — and there’s always room for one more family to jump in and be part of it.

And honestly? I think I’ve had just as much fun watching it all happen as they have. ❤️

This Memorial Day, we remember the men and women who gave everything for our country. 🇺🇸

As Scouts, we talk often about citizenship — being helpful, kind, trustworthy, and doing our part to make our communities better. But Memorial Day reminds us that the freedoms we enjoy every day were paid for through extraordinary sacrifice.

Moments like these help young people understand that citizenship is more than a badge requirement — it’s about respect, gratitude, and carrying forward the values that make our country strong.

We are proud to help raise young people who learn to serve others:
⚜️ In their homes
⚜️ In their communities
⚜️ In their nation
⚜️ And in the world

Today we honor those who never made it home.
We remember their sacrifice.
And we remain forever grateful.

One weekend it’s climbing aboard a historic ship. The next it’s campfires, hikes, Pinewood Derby cars, games, camping trips, and learning skills they’ll carry for life.
