LAUNCHING SPRING 2027: A revamped Wrigley field!

You may have noticed games not being played on Wrigley this fall, and here’s why… Work began today on a full renovation of Wrigley. Crews will be tearing out the infield, laser-grading to get a consistent slope, building new batter’s boxes, reconstructing the mound, and eliminating the 100 ft drop off that torments anyone playing 2B.

The field will be off limits while work is being done and new grass is being grown. We’ll be eager to share updates along the way and can’t wait to play there in the Spring.

Grab your concession shifts! https://signup.com/go/GQxKzvy

We are nearly 60% full at this point. Still openings Wed & Thurs this week.

⚾️ Let’s make sure players and families have the ability to grab a snack or meal all season long.

⚾️ Byron isn’t the same when the concession stand isn’t open

⚾️ Work just ONE shift during the fall to earn back your volunteer deposit

WSLL FAMILIES:
Concessions @ Byron will NOT be open tonight, Sept 9th, as we have no volunteers to work the stand.

Congrats to the 11s team for their deep run in the VA State Tournament before losing in a close semifinal game to last year’s state champs, SYA.

Huge thanks to the coaches, parents, fans, and volunteers throughout this All-Star season across all divisions. You all make WSLL an amazing program for all of our players.

And thanks to upperloudounll and sya_little_league for hosting this year!
