Photography becomes art when it expresses creativity, emotion, and a unique point of view rather than simply documenting a scene. While acrylic painting, fused glass, and mosaics are close to my heart, photography is also an important way for me to express my ideas and share how I see the world.

The Lake Anne Reston Community Center has created a wonderful opportunity through the Reston Spring 2026 Photography Exhibit by Inspired by this event, I decided to print and display some of my photographs. Through my lens, I capture moments, emotions, and stories that inspire me and reflect the beauty I see around me.

I hope you enjoy my work and have the opportunity to visit this beautiful exhibit. Thank you to the League of Reston Artists and the Reston photographic community for celebrating creativity and artistic expression.

Interdisciplinary Artist, Illustrator and Educator, ADDIE MOORE, came to the last meeting of the year for the SPRINGFIELD ART GUILD!
She offered amazing interactive critiques for member artists who brought their works to the meeting. She focused on what each artist was aiming to depict in the painting and how to achieve that end. Her critiques sought to expand the intention of artist's work not point out errors and lay down rules.
This positive attitude was totally refreshing and inspiring.
