Get ready for the 2026–2027 school year!

Our friends at Inova Cares Clinics are offering FREE school physicals and immunizations this summer for children ages 5 and older who are uninsured or enrolled in Medicaid. These services help families check important health requirements off their back-to-school checklist.

Appointments are required, and families must bring their child's vaccination records to their visit.

Availability is limited, so we encourage families to schedule as soon as possible. Please see the flyer for eligibility, appointment information, and additional details.

Know a family who could benefit? Help us spread the word by sharing this post with your friends, neighbors, schools, and community groups!

This Memorial Day, we are reminded of the strength that comes from community - neighbors supporting neighbors, families caring for one another, and people coming together in times of need.

At the MCCP Foundation, we see every day how compassion and connection can change lives. Whether through healthcare, education, volunteerism, or simple acts of kindness, each of us has the power to make our community stronger and more hopeful for the next generation.

Today, we honor remembrance, reflect on what unites us, and recommit ourselves to caring for one another.

Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful and peaceful Memorial Day!

Today, MCCP was proud to host students from Woodburn School at Northern Virginia Community College-Medical Education Campus for a special day of smiles and learning!

Woodburn students received dental screenings and cleanings from NVCC Dental Hygiene students, helping children access important preventive oral health care in a welcoming, hands-on setting.

This partnership is a win for everyone: children receive quality dental care, while NVCC students gain valuable clinical experience, public health exposure, and class credit as they prepare for careers in healthcare.

We are grateful to our partners at FCPS and NVCC for helping make oral health care more accessible for local children and for investing in the next generation of compassionate providers.

This past weekend, we were honored to join SevaTruck in celebrating their anniversary!

Thank you to the SevaTruck team for including the MCCP Foundation in such a meaningful event. We loved connecting with families, sharing health resources, and helping community members learn more about enrolling in the MCCP program.

SevaTruck is a valued partner, consistently providing nutritious meals and food to the families we serve. Together, we are strengthening our community and supporting the health and well-being of children and families across the region.

We’re grateful for this partnership and look forward to many more opportunities to serve side by side!

We’re excited to share that the MCCP Foundation has been selected as the beneficiary of the Giant Community Bag Program for the month of March!

Every time you purchase a $2.75 reusable Community Bag at the Giant located at 8074 Rolling Road in Springfield, VA, $1 will be donated to MCCP to support our work connecting children in Fairfax County to essential medical and dental care.

It’s a simple way to make a difference while you shop for groceries.

MCCP recently hosted a dental clinic in collaboration with Northern Virginia Community College-Medical Education Campus' talented dental hygiene students and faculty at our Community Wellness Clinic. Together, we provided dental screenings, preventive services, and oral health education to local children - helping families build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Through hands-on learning, NOVA students gain valuable clinical experience while making a real difference in the lives of underserved children in our community. Each child also received take-home dental kits to continue practicing good oral health at home.

Thank you to the NOVA Dental Hygiene team for your dedication to service and for helping Fairfax County children smile brighter!

Today, we honor the leaders who have shaped our nation and reflect on the values that unite us - service, opportunity, and a commitment to the well-being of all.

At the MCCP Foundation, we carry that spirit forward by ensuring that underserved children in Fairfax County have access to a medical and dental home, preventive care, and the vital resources they need to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

As we celebrate Presidents’ Day, we’re reminded that strong communities are built when we invest in the health and future of our children. Thank you for being part of our mission to create brighter futures for local families!

This past weekend, the MCCP Foundation was proud to participate in Fairfax County's community health fair!

Our team had a great time connecting with families and neighbors while providing dental screenings, sharing health resources, and helping community members learn more about services available locally.

Thank you to Fairfax County for hosting such an important event - and to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello, ask questions, and take steps toward healthier futures!

As temperatures drop, it’s important to take steps to protect yourself, your family, and our neighbors. Extreme cold can be dangerous, and conditions like frostbite and hypothermia can develop quickly.

• Dress in layers and cover all exposed skin
• Limit time outdoors and avoid prolonged exposure
• Protect water lines - helpful tips from Fairfax Water: www.fairfaxwater.org/news/winter-weather-info
• Check on neighbors, especially older adults or anyone without adequate heat
• Know the warning signs of frostbite and hypothermia, and seek help immediately if symptoms appear. Watch for shivering, exhaustion, confusion, memory loss, or slurred speech.
