From Learning a Skill to Building a Future.
At the STEP Charity Education Organization Vocational Training Center, the final examination of the tailoring class was conducted.
When these students first joined the program, they had little to no knowledge of tailoring. Through dedication, practice, and the guidance of their instructors, they have now developed professional skills and reached a level where they can even work as skilled tailors and instructors.
This final examination is more than a test—it represents the beginning of a new chapter. With the skills they have gained, they can earn a lawful and dignified income, support their families, and build a more stable, peaceful, and self-reliant future.
Through vocational education and practical skills training, STEP Charity continues to create opportunities for people to become economically self-reliant and improve their lives through their own skills and hard work.

Asalam o Alaikum wa rahmatullah ✋😍
In the streets and markets of Gardez, Paktia, some children begin their days very differently from other children.
Instead of going straight to school, they work to help their families. Some sell plastic, some shine shoes, and others sell small items in the market just to help put food on the table.
But behind their difficult daily lives are dreams that are just as big as any other child’s.
They want to learn. They want to build a profession. They want to have a better life. And they want a future they can be proud of.
To give them that opportunity, STEP Charity and Educational Institute has established a learning class where these children study for three hours every day alongside their work.
In this documentary, we travel to Gardez to meet these children, listen to their stories, speak with their teachers and parents, and see the changes education is bringing to their lives.
We also brought new clothes for the students — a simple gift that brought enormous happiness to children who often cannot afford new clothes even during holidays and special occasions.
But this story is about more than clothes or classroom lessons.
It is about hope.
It is about giving children the chance to believe that their current circumstances do not have to determine their future.
Every few months, STEP visits the students to monitor their education, assess their progress, listen to their concerns, and make sure they are learning in a safe and supportive environment.
These children may be working today...
But with education, support, and opportunity, their tomorrow can be very different.
Every child deserves the chance to learn, dream, and build a better future.

Recent devastating floods in parts of Nuristan Province, Afghanistan, have left hundreds of families facing severe hardship. Homes, agricultural lands, bridges, vehicles, household belongings, and essential infrastructure have been destroyed or damaged, leaving many families in urgent need of support.
To assess the situation and understand the needs of affected communities, the STEP Charity team traveled to Nuristan and visited the flood-affected areas. The team met with local authorities and, most importantly, spoke directly with affected families to understand their immediate and long-term needs.
The preliminary assessment found that approximately 27 homes were destroyed, four bridges were damaged or destroyed, and around 500 jeribs of agricultural land were affected. In Barg-e Matal District, local reports also indicated that around 170 homes, 50 embankments, and several bridges and culverts were swept away, dramatically changing the landscape of the affected village.
STEP Charity provided emergency assistance to approximately 60 affected families, including blankets, floor mats, buckets, cooking oil, beans, lentils, sugar, and tea.
However, emergency aid alone is not enough. Many families now need cash assistance, reconstruction of their homes, clean drinking water, protective walls, and other basic infrastructure to rebuild their lives and protect themselves from future disasters.
STEP Charity continues to stand alongside vulnerable families and calls on humanitarian organizations, community leaders, authorities, donors, and compassionate individuals to support the affected people of Nuristan.
Together, we can turn compassion into meaningful change.
