Are you searching for your "dream job"—or discovering God's ultimate calling for your life? 💼✨

In a world that measures success by job titles, income, and social status, many believers struggle with feeling like their daily work lacks spiritual purpose. We often treat "calling" as a secret code to crack about our individual career path.

In this foundational study, Dr. Mark R. Talbot reframes how we view work, vocation, and purpose from a biblical perspective:

Common Vocation First: Before asking "What am I called to do?", we must ask "What are we called to be?"—a redeemed people glorifying God and stewarding His creation.

Dignity in Every Task: Secular culture ranks professions by status, but God values all honest work—from sanitation workers and homemakers to teachers and pilots.

Individual Callings as Gifts: How our specific skills and circumstances serve our shared mission of loving God and neighbor.

Saturated in Scripture: Why grounding our daily routines in God’s Word reshapes how we approach work, rest, and leisure.

Your work isn't just a way to make a living; when offered to God, it becomes an act of worship and service.

Discover how a biblical view of calling brings freedom, purpose, and dignity to your everyday life.

What happens when you tear down every piece of your faith—and realize the void left behind isn't enough? 🏚️✨

In recent years, "faith deconstruction" has swept through culture and the church. For many, honest doubts and church hurt lead to dismantling everything they once believed.

Nate Hanson was a pastor who walked that exact path. Influenced by radical questions and church disillusionment, he left ministry, co-hosted a popular podcast on deconstruction, and pushed his faith to the absolute edge.

But the story didn't end in cynicism.

In this powerful episode of the eX-skeptic podcast with Jana Harmon, Nate shares his journey back to Christ:

The Limits of Deconstruction: How tearing down faith without seeking truth leaves the soul anchorless and dissatisfied.

Navigating Church Hurt & Doubts: Distinguishing between human failings in religion and the true character of Jesus.

Rediscovering Grace: How an encounter with the authentic Gospel brought healing, clarity, and renewed faith.

If you or someone you love is navigating deep doubts or faith deconstruction, Nate’s story offers a compassionate, honest, and hope-filled perspective.

When the cultural ground keeps shifting beneath your feet, where do you look for an unshakeable, solid foundation? ⚓📖

In a world full of competing worldviews, shifting moral standards, and endless digital noise, it’s easy to feel untethered. But God's truth isn't just a set of arbitrary rules—it is anchored in the very nature of reality and God's goodness.

Reflecting on C.S. Lewis’s classic work Reflections on the Psalms, the C.S. Lewis Institute examines what it means to discover "rock-bottom reality" in Scripture:

Touching Firmness: Why obeying God's Word feels like stepping onto a solid, paved road after getting lost in muddy fields.

Truth That Holds Water: Understanding that God's commands are rooted in His unchanging character and possess intrinsic validity.

Living on a Spiritual Island: As cultural norms drift further away from biblical truth, God's Word shines with extraordinary radiance—like fresh air after a dungeon or sanity after a nightmare.

No matter how much our culture changes, God's Word remains a steady, reliable lamp for our feet and a light for our path.

Take a moment to pause and anchor your heart in enduring truth today.

Ever freeze up when someone questions your faith at work or over dinner, wondering what to say next? 🤔🗣️

Sharing the Gospel in a skeptical world can feel intimidating. We often worry about having all the answers, launching into a 45-minute lecture, or causing tension with friends and colleagues.

But effective evangelism doesn't require a theology degree—it often starts simply by asking great questions.

In a classic C.S. Lewis Institute broadcast talk, Dr. Andy Bannister shares three powerful, disarming questions that can turn almost any skeptical comment into an engaging spiritual conversation:

1. "What do you mean by that?" — Unpack vague assumptions or sweeping claims without getting defensive.

2. "Why do you think that?" — Gently invite people to examine the reasoning behind their skepticism or second-hand objections.

3. "Have you ever wondered...?" — Spark curiosity and open doors for spiritual dialogue even with apathetic friends.

You don't have to win every argument. By listening well and asking thoughtful questions, you can move from tension to genuine, meaningful discussion about Christ.

Discover how to transform everyday conversations into opportunities for grace.

What happens when machines get better at being "human" than we are? 🤖⚡

AI can write code, compose music, and hold a conversation... but can an algorithm ever replace the human soul?

As technology accelerates, the biggest question facing us isn't just what AI can do—it’s who we become in the process.

Join us for an eye-opening session with author and speaker Cameron McAllister as he cuts through both the hype and the panic to reveal why the image of God gives us a firm, hopeful foundation in a tech-driven world.

In a world of thousands of connections and zero real attention, when was the last time you truly saw the person right in front of you? 👀💔

We live in an era of hyper-connectivity, yet loneliness is at an all-time high. People sit in crowded rooms, scroll past endless faces, and walk through life feeling entirely invisible.

In a thoughtful new reflection for the C.S. Lewis Institute, Thiago M. Silva explores why paying attention to others is much more than basic politeness—it is a core spiritual discipline:

The Danger of Distraction: How constant digital noise and rushing schedules train us to overlook the human needs around us.

Jesus, The One Who Sees: Looking at how Jesus constantly stopped for the overlooked, the outcast, and the invisible.

No Ordinary People: Drawing on C.S. Lewis’s famous reminder from The Weight of Glory that we never talk to a "mere mortal"—every person carries eternal weight.

Attention as a Radical Witness: Why choosing to slow down, listen, and truly notice others is one of the most powerful displays of Christian love today.

To ignore someone is to say they don't matter. But to pay attention—to offer presence and holy listening—is to reflect the heart of Christ.

Slow down, look up, and rediscover the ministry of attention.

Did you know that trying to follow God alone actually limits your ability to know Him? 🪞✨

In The Four Loves, C.S. Lewis made a fascinating observation about friendship: when one friend in a group dies, the remaining friends don't get more of the person who is left—they actually get less. Why? Because each friend brought out a unique side of that person that no one else could.

The same is true in our walk with Christ.

In this reflection, the C.S. Lewis Institute explores why deep, committed Christian community is indispensable:

Seeing More of Christ: No single individual can fully embody or reflect the richness of God’s character; we need other believers to see His grace, wisdom, and love in action.

Safety in Vulnerability: How authentic fellowship gives us a safe place to confess struggles, heal, and receive prayer.

Protection from Blind Spots: Why isolated Christians are far more vulnerable to spiritual fatigue and subtle self-deception.

God created us for a shared journey. When we isolate ourselves, we miss out on the very reflections of Christ that our brothers and sisters were designed to show us.

Reconnect with the vital purpose and beauty of true Christian fellowship.
