Last night our Bear den worked on their A Bear Goes Fishing adventure loop. To practice casting they played a fun game on dry land before they hit the water next meeting.

Thank you to Chris at Williamsburg Dojo for teaching our cub scouts techniques for self defense. Cubs learned, you do not always have to be big and strong to stay safe - staying smart and aware of your surroundings is most important.

This weekend the AOL’s had the opportunity to camp out the troop and learn what it will be like when they transition up. The scouts had to set up their tents, cook food, clean up and enjoy s’mores by the fire. A lot of laughs were shared together, a great game of man hunt and to end the trip with some fishing.

This is October in pictures. At the pack meeting our scouts designed their own stand to hold a pumpkin and our Wolf den performed their first flag ceremony. The Arrow of Lights planted a memorial tree for a scout that is no longer with us. The pack was also invited to participate in the West Point Public School’s trunk or treat. , ,
