West Point Masonic Lodge No. 238 invites everyone to enjoy a hearty breakfast on Saturday, November 21st, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM!

We’ll be serving bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits, and drinks — all for just $10 for adults and $6 for children 10 and under.

Bring your family, invite your friends, and enjoy a great breakfast while supporting your local Masonic Lodge!

Happy Birthday today to our Marshal, Right Worshipful Monty Russell Mills! RW Monty Mills was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on May 14, 1992. He served as Worshipful Master of West Point Lodge in 1997 and 2003 and as our District Deputy Grand Master, District 11 in 2015.

RW Monty is also a Companion in Urbanna Royal Arch Chapter #59, a Past Worthy Patron of River View Chapter #69, Order of the Eastern Star, and a 32° Scottish Rite Mason.

Celebrating 60 Years of Freemasonry!

At our October stated communication, West Point Lodge No. 238 had the distinct honor of recognizing Right Worshipful Charles Robert Bryant Jr. for 60 years of faithful service and dedication to Freemasonry.

Brother Bryant was presented with his 60-Year Veteran’s Award and Certificate from the Grand Lodge of Virginia by Right Worshipful Monty Russell Mills. We were also honored to have Most Worshipful George Bernard Dungan Jr., Past Grand Master of Masons in Virginia (2007), in attendance to congratulate our distinguished Brother.

Brother Bryant’s Masonic journey began in 1966:

• Entered Apprentice: February 24, 1966
• Fellowcraft: July 14, 1966
• Master Mason: October 13, 1966

Throughout his Masonic career, he has served West Point Lodge as Worshipful Master in both 1988 and 1990 and served the Grand Lodge of Virginia as District Deputy Grand Master of the 11th Masonic District in 2008.

Sixty years of Brotherhood, service, and dedication is a remarkable milestone. We are grateful for Brother Bryant’s many contributions to our Lodge and to the Craft.

On Saturday 9/19/26 during the Grand Master's Official visit to the 11th Masonic District in Gloucester, our secretary and Past Master, Worshipful Ben Sanders was recognized by Most Worshipful Matthew Todd Szramoski, 180th Grand Master of Masons in Va. for his contributions and participation in the great Fraternity of Freemasonry. Worshipful Sanders is not only a Past Master of West Point #238 and our current secretary but also holds or served in numerous offices in several appendant bodies of freemasonry.

Congratulations to our newest Master Mason!

Tonight, September 8, 2026, Brother Dennis Joseph Lowe was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.

The degree was conferred by Wor. Leonard Larry Goins Jr., Worshipful Master, with the Master Mason lecture beautifully recited by Right Worshipful Danny Howlett. A job well done to the entire degree team!

We were also honored to have Right Worshipful R.D. Johnson, District Deputy Grand Master of the 11th Masonic District, present to congratulate and welcome our newly raised Brother.

Congratulations, Brother Lowe, on reaching this important milestone in your Masonic journey. May you continue to grow in knowledge, fellowship, and service as a Master Mason.

Tonight, Jimmy and Maria Mantis, owners of Nicks Spaghetti and Steak House Shacklefords VA were honored for their charitable contributions and service to the community with the Community Builders Award presented by West Point Masonic Lodge No. 238.

The Community Builders Award recognizes individuals whose outstanding community service and achievements help make our communities better places to live, work, and raise our families.

The award was presented on behalf of West Point Lodge No. 238 and Grand Lodge, AF & AM, of Virginia by Right Worshipful R.D. Johnson, District Deputy Grand Master of the 11th Masonic District, and Worshipful Leonard Larry Goins Jr., Worshipful Master of West Point Lodge No. 238.

Congratulations to Jimmy and Maria on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for all you continue to do for our community.

Want to say a Great Big Thank You to the Brothers and their wives who made our first support of West Point's Jammin on the Point a great success!! Fantastic turn out by the lodge and its members, and their wives. Old Crow Catering was the talk of the event. We appreciate the West Point Chamber of Commerce for contacting us, Smurfit WestRock Container for their support and Ben Phelps Project for the great show and music !!!!!! We hope to be invited back, We want to Thank everyone who attended for their patronage and support......

Worshipful Brother Gene was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on June 12, 1995, and served as Worshipful Master of Metropolitan Lodge No. 11 in Richmond, Virginia, in 2001.

He is also a Companion of Urbanna Royal Arch Chapter No. 59, a Sir Knight of Penn-Neck Commandery No. 33, Knights Templar, a 32° Scottish Rite Mason, and a Knight of Saint Andrew.

We are grateful for your dedication to the Craft and your continued service to Freemasonry.

Congratulations to Brother Larry Lee Inge on being Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason this evening, May 26, 2026, at West Point Lodge No. 238 AF&AM.

The degree was beautifully conferred from the East by Worshipful Leonard Larry Goins, Jr., and the Master Mason Degree Lecture was delivered by Worshipful Doug Williams of the Grand Lodge Committee on Work.

We extend our sincere congratulations to Brother Inge as he continues his Masonic journey, and we thank all of the brethren who helped make the evening both meaningful and memorable.
