Greater West Point Family YMCA

Call Directions Website

Greater West Point Family YMCA The Y is the nation’s leading non-profit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

What sets the YMCA apart is that we make membership, programs, services, and facilities available regardless of a family or individual's ability to pay the standard membership and program fees. If you want to participate at the YMCA and feel you are not financially able to do so, please apply to our Guardian Program. We do not want you or your family to be excluded from the benefits that the Y has to offer.

Reminder: our new mobile app arrives October 12.

Starting Tuesday this week, centers are getting access on a rolling basis, so keep an eye out for when it's your center's turn to switch.

When you're ready to log in, use your Daxko account login, the same one you already use for your membership. Not sure what that is? Stop by your center's Welcome Center, email [email protected], or find your account here https://bit.ly/4zcIdtm so you're all set before your center's launch date.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and the people who make our Y stronger.

Joanna, a member of the Luter Family YMCA staff, has roots in Mexico and Puerto Rico. She's passing traditions on to her son, from celebrating Christmas on December 24 to sharing the food, language, and culture she grew up with.

Joanna loves meeting people from all backgrounds at the Y and hearing their stories. Please join us in celebrating Joanna during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Your YMCA app is getting an upgrade.

Starting the week of October 5, YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas centers will move from our current app to a new mobile platform. Your center will let you know exactly when it's your turn.

Here's what's new:
🔹 "Engagements" replace "Workouts," with more ways to track activity and earn rewards
🔹 Family-wide barcode access, so everyone on your membership can check in from one place and register anyone from your family for programs within one login. This means registering your little one for a swim lesson straight from your login (who doesn't have a mobile app account).
🔹 Book orientations for Youth and Teens, InBody, and SMART START on your phone
🔹 New updated interface and communicate directly with YMCA staff

The current app stays live through October 11. Our new app will be up at every center by October 12.
