Kids are out of school now, and that means it's time for them to get their Lemonade Stand ready for business. This annual event is for SCHOOL AGE KIDS grades kindergarten to 12th grade, to own and operate a business, and then budget their profits by saving, giving back to a charity, church or organization of their choice, and buy themselves something too. There is a list of things that are great to sell with Lemonade, and also a list of things the City does not allow. Register on the website, brand the stand on the map, pick open hours, decide on a menu, and then get ready to sell - Saturday, June 13th is Golden Triangle Lemonade Day! Sponsored by The Growth Alliance, Cadence Bank, and the MSU Center for Entrepreneurship.

After years of planning, meetings, reporting, approvals and coordinating, the park project officially begins... to build a new gazebo, add new signage, benches and landscaping. Today The City guys pulled up the bushes and sign on the corner. In the next week or 2 the gazebo will be removed while construction is being bid. Please be aware there won't be a gazebo available to reserve for a few months, but the rest of the park is still available to use. We think it will be worth the wait...
