Today, the elders of our community gathered to fulfill the tradition of unity, boiling atayee, roasted cow 🐄 meat in honor of Eid Mubarak. Every year, we celebrate this day together - and it's also a special occasion that rejuvenates our brotherhood spirit and unity.

These visits aimed to touch base with the people we represent, share memories, discuss progress and challenges, and listen to recommendations and suggestions. The Mandingo Association of West Point expresses deep sympathy over the death of one of our kinsmen, Sekou Kromah, who passed away last night at a hospital after a protracted period of injury from a recent car incident involving him and few others.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Joana Kromah and the entire Kromah family for this great loss. Please take solace in the Almighty because it is He (Allah) that brought him on earth and it’s He (God) that has decided to call him to heaven to have a genuine, peaceful rest in the hands of the Almighty.

May Allah grant him Al’jannah and forgive all of his sins.

Death Announcement!!

We regret to announce the death of Officer Sekou Kromah, 178 in the Liberia National Police. This sad incident occurred early this morning. Our community is mourning this tragic loss. Officer Sekou, was a dedicated public servant and a responsible family man. Beyond that, he always shows love for our community. His burial is 2pm today at old road cemetery.

Death has knocked at our door again. With sadness, we regret to inform the public about the passing of our sister and aunty, Massoneh K. Kamara. This sad event occurred last evening in West Point and the body of the deceased has been laid to rest. We pray for Allah’s forgiving hand on her soul and grant her paradise. Ameena!!!
