Earlier this week, our Campership Committee met and awarded over $18,000 in financial assistance to MAC Scouts to attend a summer camp opportunity this summer with 77 Scouts receiving assistance to attend Camp Cedars. A huge thank you to all of our donors and committee members that help make this program happen!

We are excited to announce that we have received additional funding to help MAC Scouts attend camp this summer! This funding is open to all MAC youth to apply, regardless of financial need, and must be used this summer at Camp Cedars, Camp Amikaro, or a Cub Scout summer day camp.

Scouts from the Troop volunteered at the Pack 165 - Cub Scouts West Point, NE and Pack 182's Pinewood Derby today. The scouts helped demonstrate appropriate flag folding and care, knot tying and camping basics to the Cubscouts. Thank you to those scouts who volunteered their time! Great skills demonstrations for future BSA Scouts!

Today the scouts learned about geocaching and created a geocache for Boy Scout Memorial Park in West Point. The geocache has officially been approved by the top geocaching app so others will learn and get to experience the park going forward. They are working on earning their Geocache Merit Badge.
