As we close up the trails and put our equipment to bed for the off-season we would be remiss to not thank our landowners once again…if not for their kindness & generosity we simply would have no place to ride…it all begins and ends with them…❄️☃️❄️

All Trails will be closed with gates being shuttered starting tomorrow morning…stay tuned here and to our webpage at www.OVSC.net for upcoming work parties…summer events…and the latest developments on the rail-to-trail conversion being proposed for our section of Corridor 19…thanks to all of our landowners, businesses, members & riders for one of the best seasons we’ve had in several years…❄️☃️❄️

CORRIDOR 15 CLOSED:
The State BOT has asked us to post that Corridor 15 from Corridor 19 up and over Mount Shaw to Moultonborough is closed for the season with gates to be secured tomorrow…it was a great season with Josh & crew doing a fantastic job grooming the mountain…thanks guys…❄️☃️❄️

WESTWARD SHORES TRAIL CLOSED:
The connector trail from Corridor 19 thru WWS to Ossipee Lake has been closed and gated for the season…and once again a big thanks to the Resort’s management for their access and cooperation once again this past season!

TRAILS UPDATE:
The Trailmaster reports trails held up well over the weekend (according to rider reports) but will be fading quickly with the current weather…in particular wherever the railbed is exposed to direct sunlight rails/ties/spikes are or will be quickly rearing their ugly head…enjoy what we have left for riding time and expect the usual Spring like conditions with associated hazards…ride appropriately and safely…system will be evaluated daily until its time to start closing gates…and finally a big thank you for folks staying on trail this season…❄️☃️❄️

Last night one of our local agencies held training with surrounding towns trailside White Lake State Park…and a big thanks to our Trailmaster Mark for volunteering to portray one of the necessary “victims”…❄️☃️❄️

Our March club meeting is coming up Saturday March 7 at the Tamworth Town House @ 27 Cleveland Hill Road in Tamworth at 5:00 PM…several board members are putting together a pot luck supper for after the meeting…usual staples are crock pot chili…chicken wings/spare ribs…casseroles…and pastries or desserts…we are asking any member or friend of the Club to join us and perhaps bring a plate or dessert of their own to share…a small kitchen is available if needed…however the building does not allow alcoholic beverages…if interested we would love to see you on the 7th…❄️☃️❄️

SLED DOG WEEKEND SUCCESS:
