Have you wondered about the missing pedestrian signs in Chocorua village? The Tamworth Select Board decided to remove the signs, unless/until they are accompanied by RRFB's (Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons, typical installation shown below). The CCA is actively working to resolve this situation. In the mean time, please take extra care when crossing Route 16. (Photo shows typical RRFB installation, and not the Chocorua crossing.)

Chocorua River this afternoon.

We got 4.3" of rain in Chocorua, just short of the 4.5" we got on May 1st. It's been a wet year.
