🌱 We’re excited to be part of the Carroll County Farm to Senior Pilot Project!

Through this partnership, we’ll be bringing more locally grown food to the older adults we serve while supporting our local farms and producers.

Good food. Local partnerships. Stronger communities. ❤️

We’re excited to share that the Gibson Center and Ossipee Concerned Citizens have been selected to participate in the Carroll County Food Access Network Farm to Senior Pilot Project, led by UNH Extension!

Thanks to a $7,500 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Rogers Family Trust Fund, we’ll be bringing more locally grown food to the older adults we serve while supporting Carroll County farmers.

As part of the pilot, we’ll incorporate at least one locally sourced ingredient into our menus each week for community lunches and Meals on Wheels. It’s a win for seniors, local farmers, and our local food system! 🌱

✨Join Our Team!✨ At OCC, we are focused on building something bigger than a kitchen: We are building a team that serves our community with compassion, professionalism, and pride. As our Food Services Department in Ossipee continues to grow and strengthen, we are looking for two individuals who want to make a meaningful difference every day:

🍽️ Lead Cook (FT - up to 35hrs per week)
We're looking for someone with commercial kitchen experience who enjoys preparing nutritious meals, working as part of a team, and helping lead daily kitchen operations. Previous kitchen or food service experience is required. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs independently, stand/bend/twist safely for long periods of time and communicate effectively.

🥣 Kitchen Assistant (PT - up to 25hrs per week)
No extensive kitchen experience is needed, just willingness to learn and be part of a team. We're happy to train someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about serving others.

We offer competitive wages conmesurate with experience, plus FT/PT benefits such as paid time off, dayshift (no nights, no weekends!), retirement plan, health insurance premium reimbursement and 10 paid annual holidays!

Every meal we prepare helps older adults, individuals with disabilities, and children in our community. We're looking for team members who value professionalism, teamwork, kindness, and making a meaningful difference every day.

If you're passionate about serving others and want to be part of a positive, mission-driven nonprofit organization, we'd love to hear from you!

Apply today by visiting www.occnh.org/careers or email your resume to [email protected].

Please share this post to help us find our next great team members!! ❤
