Camp Lucy

Camp Lucy We provide the camp, housing, food, and several activities during the weekend. The camp is on the shores of beautiful Ossipee Lake in Freedom, NH.

Camp Lucy is a weekend retreat where people can strengthen the human/canine bond with education, games, companionship, and the joys of sharing a common love for dogs with others. Most housing is shared housing in the camps bunkhouses.

I'm sure some of you have not heard, but Jody Hamilton died yesterday. She was at home with John at the time. EMS tried but were unable to save her. I will post more info as I get it. So sad for our golden community.

I know most, if not all of you knew that Sara's dad passed away recently and that Sara could be at camp because she was dealing with her dads estate.

Solo and Stormy will be 12 in October and Sandi is well on her way to being 11 years old. Their ages didn't make a difference to them at all as you can see from the dock diving pictures. They still had a blast down at the lake and Solo still took her job as fun police very seriously. I apologize to everyone for her barking at the lake.

Well, after two weeks away from home and my Internet, we are finally able to share some of the pictures taken at Camp Lucy. First, I want to thank everyone who has attended over the years. You all have made Camp Lucy a weekend of a lifetime. I have had the pleasure of the friendship of both humans and canines that will stay with me forever. We strived to provide a weekend free of the pressures of daily life but full of the love of our dogs and the friendship of all the people who attended Camp Lucy. I think we succeeded beyond all our expectations. For that, I am profoundly grateful! Here are the group pictures.....Let me know which one you like best. Some were taken in the field and some on the steps.
